Large fish and chips £9.99 on Friday. Large fish and chips, mushy peas , tartare sauce, £9.99 on a Friday, Total Bargain. Other party members had Veggie Burger (nice and with proper ‘home made’ onion rings). And mixed grill, which was huge and good value for money. The Bull delivers good value Pu
Called in for tea at 6 on Saturday evening . There was 8 of us . There were a few big groups in one of 16 and one of 8 , then many smaller tables . We didn’t have to wait too long for our food which was all very tasty . I had the chicken sizzler with Jacket potato which was delicious. Others had Las
Pretty quiet when I turned up. Only stayed the night, but was comfortable, and the gaffer and other punters in their were spot on, chatty and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable, exactly what was needed. Only draw back was didn't do food. Not a problem, though, as plenty of eateries and takeaw
It was great, good value and staff friendly. I almost didn't go based on previous reviews but am glad I did. Big menu, had the mixed grill as pictured. There's 2 big sausages hiding under the egg with pork, steak and chicken, all for 11 quid!
Let down by another local pub but the staff at the Bull fitted us in. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered from the earlybird menu and all the food was well presented and tasty. Excellent value for money at £15.50 a head for a two course meal and a drink. Would highly recommend.
My daughter took us to the Bull for Father's Day. We had the carvery which as usual was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We spoke to the manager and his wife. They really deserve their success at the Bull. It's our favourite local eatery.
Went to the carvery as a vegetarian fully expecting to just eat veg, but was surprised to find they had vegetarian options for the main. The potatoes are cooked in fat, but they made a portion of that and gravy for me. Lovely surprise and lovely carvery!
Best steak and ale pie. Plus potatoes and 3 veg. Liked having a full gravy boat each. Totally full - needed to use doggy bag. Only lost a star as took a while to arrive due to other pre- bookings.
Family friendly (including dogs in certain areas, which is a great plus!) pub with fantastic food, attentive staff and a great selection of drinks. Will definitely return!
We went for curry night. Don't expect top tier curry but for the price it's pretty solid. I would steer clear of the vegetable curry if I were you and go with the korma or tikka 😁 Tuesday is curry day FYI 😂
Loved it... Great value, great food, really friendly staff.
