Friendly staff, good food and sports TV. Popular with the golfing crowd. Manager and his team always friendly.
We had a really good meal here for a family get together. Good menu choice and price. If there was a down side it was that we were the only people in the pub/restaurant. Some areas are looking very tired especially the toilets which could do with some money spending on them. All in all, great food.
The food is pretty good to be honest. Most the meals I have had have been great. Few meals on the menu are clearly microwaved, but considering the extensive selection, it is unavoidable that you will compromise quality on certain dishes. Staff always seem pleasant. A point lost for all the pro fox hunting photos on display, but that's the area I guess.
I'm assuming it is Welton Manor Golf course! However the coffee and bacon cob was good to have after been stuck on the A15 for over an hour. As for the golf I didn't play well - must have been knackered after the long hold up. However it was a good day out
Friendly helpful staff. Good food & drink. Nice setting in summer overlooking golf course. Sport usually on 1 or more tv in the bar.
