‘The’ best place to eat for ribs without question. The ribs are never dry, but are tender, and fall off the bone. The downside is that they are slightly expensive, and the chips and peas are just average. Coleslaw is average (dry) but it’s acceptable. Burgers are average in my opinion. Onion loaf is nice and worth it. The hot bread you used to get at the start has been replaced (with what looks to be a flower topped supermarket roll). As other reviews say, the restaurant is extremely dated and not changed for decades, but maybe this part of the experience. More of a cafe than a restaurant. Can get noisy at times. Good for a family ‘slap up’ meal, but not really for couples on a night out.

We ordered pork chops, jacket potatoes and the ribs from the menu. The food was amazing, very tasty indeed and you could you tell it had been freshly prepared. From placing our order to being served it was very fast turnaround. Free ample parking which was a bonus. The restaurant looks amazing with the old 50's American diner vibe. The restaurant and the toilet facilities were immaculately clean. Highly recommended and worth a visit if you are in the area. 10/10.

Our visit was very positive and we really enjoyed it . My son had told us that it wasn’t very good lately and he’d been a couple of weeks before . Also other people had been and it wasnt good and apparently closing ?! We debated on whether to go or not but pleased we decided to go . It was a very busy Thursday evening , table booked for 7.45 . We had the teriyaki chicken wings for starters , which were very tasty and juicy. For mains , my partner had a full rack of bbq ribs and chips which were delicious. I had chicken tenders and a quarter roast chicken in bbq sauce and jacket potato. The chicken was cooked beautifully, moist and tender . All followed by a slice of the raspberry crème brûlée cheesecake. We had a lovely evening and really enjoyed our meal . Very pleased we went in the end .

We had food in the evening here, my partner had gammon and she said it was beautiful, I had the ribs and chicken breast combo. The ribs was to die for so melt in the mouth and the chicken was very nice also which I shared of course. The drinks what we had, sorry for the bad pictures didn't really think to take some till after, was nice and well made. Tried to to the waiter but as we had no cash I asked him to put some money on the bill but he didn't do this unfortunately. We spent the evening in the motel and had as really nice night in one of their hot tub suites. I'm the morning we went and had breakfast her and everything was nice, except the sausages, with them being so much into cooking meat I thought they was very out of place and some 'proper butcher sausages' would of been better. That is the only thing that stops this from being a 5* all rounder. Will defiantly visit again and bring our children next time as this was our anniversary. Thank you for such as memorable time.

The food was very tasty and came quite promptly. The service was good and very good portion size. It wasn't too busy and the atmosphere was pleasant. I really like the coleslaw and I do miss the bread rolls.

I've missed damons SO much since sheffield closed! I've heard bad reviews about Lincoln so never took.the trip. Being close by this week I thought I'd risk it.... and it didn't dissapoint! It was everything I'd remembered.... except the bread was different ..... but it was still nice, just different. Thanks Damons... 100% be back!!!

Best place in Lincoln for ribs and other American classics. The meat was juicy, rich in BBQ sauce, and fell off the bone. The chips were excellent and crispy. I've been to Damon's a few times and so far the food has been perfect each time. The car park is a free, generous space (check the parking terms if you plan on staying longer than a few hours). Damon's sits off the A46 so no need to go through busy Lincoln city centre if you are travelling from another town. I had the baby ribs and chicken strips combo.

The food was brilliant apart from the starters which had been forgotten to be served, then when they did arrive they was bland with almost no sauce on them which was ashame. Other then that everything else was spot on. I'd come here again as I think it's decent portions and the fact you buy 1 main Meal, you was given a kids meal free was well worth it.

One of our regular stop offs between family in Hertfordshire and East Yorkshire. Actually arrived to be told 40 mins for a table in the restaurant as it was so busy. It was half term locally. We were told we could eat in the bar but off a limited menu. Fine . As always very helpful staff and OK food. A nice atmosphere with it being so busy for 1 o clock lunch time

A few negative reviews on here but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, my wife had ribs & I had rump steak. My steak was perfection , melted in my mouth with no fat on it absolutely beautifully cooked. My wife had ribs which fell off the bone and she enjoyed. We had a few cocktails which were fine , no problems . Don’t expect instant service as you are not the only one there.People were friendly , the so called bouncer spoke as we left and was very pleasant and polite, made me feel welcome . Can not fault staff or food.We will be going back tomorrow as staying in Damon’s hotel next door so booked table again for 1800, can’t wait.

Absolutely brilliant meal, can't fault it. We had a starter and main, good size portions. Only drawback is its quite expensive, even having the lunch deal, £4.50 for a pint of coke. The staff were lovely and very attentive. No free bread anymore :(

Charlie P our server was brilliant, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was tasty but typically I wouldn't say healthy. Lots of deals including kids eat free, happy hour etc etc. We enjoyed it but it was busy.

Excellent, millie our waitress always had a smile on her face and very polite. Cannot fault her or any of the staff. Food was beautiful and very filling, shame the mushrooms were not garlic! Well worth the money.
