Couldn't give anything less than 5star. Lovely interior and friendly staff. All four of us had delicious and well stacked plates. Beautiful setting.

We phoned ahead as were arriving in campervans and checked availability to stay overnight at the location, we met the owners Lisa and Daz and were made very welcome and Terry "Lisa's Dad" kept the fire stoked and cozy, so onto the food, if you love home cooked, well made food where 110% has gone into the présentation then this is the pub for you, great selection of ales and a warm reception in the heart of Lincolnshire Countryside which will definitely see us returning again and again. Update* We stayed for breakfast and it excellent in every way, better than hotel standards!

Superb dog friendly pub on the banks of the river Witham and also on the water railway, a walk from Lincoln to Boston. Lovely friendly staff, just the place to stop off for refreshments.

Only had a pint here after a walk along the riverside. Friendly staff and somewhere I will probably go back to and try the food.

What a fabulous place by the river! A great place to dine and have a drink. I bet it's a lovely place to work at.Visited for the first time today with my husband Andrew and our dog and we were really impressed. Our dog was kept well hydrated with the bowls of water. The shades were put up at each table to help keep us cool outside and the sandwiches we chose for lunch were the best we have ever tasted, with delicious bread, plenty of filling and beautifully presented, The beer was really good too. Very tastefully newly renovated in parts of the Inn inside and we were well looked after by Tez, Lisa and the other two ladies. All really hard working and friendly. We will be back. Thank you for looking after us.

A lovely little pub as I called it "a paradise in the wilderness" we had walked along the canal from Woodhall Spa so yes a nice place to stop for a well worth it break before turning back (10 miles if your interested from Woodhall Spa and back). The staff was welcoming the inside was all spruced up for a jubilee party we think, the restroom needs to be brought back into a nice place to spend a penny. Planning to do this walk again so will be calling in on the watering hole again

The new owners are lovely and welcoming. The food is fantastic, we had the Sunday dinner, all tasty, home made yourkshire pudding. The home made cheesecake is one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had, and a more then generous portion. Highly recommended, situated in beautiful settings
