Had Sunday lunch with family and friends on Sunday 18.3.18 - lovely service. Plates and food hot and very tasty. Good value for the quality and quantity of food eaten. Deserts amazing! Won't hesitate to come back �

I didn’t eat here but see they were having an American do and I hope that went well. A nice pub, a few regulars. Decent menu, the lady pounced on me and was “have you booked?” I thought “hang on love, the place is dead” and I was only after a couple of Lime and Sodas. Very nice they were too. We went into the second bar. Yes it’s worth stopping by if the traffic to Lincoln looks slow
We stopped for food as we couldn't get a table at our stop over.
I contacted them late the day before and we're more than happy to accommodate us.
Upon arrival the outside was a little underwhelming, the car park was lit and had ample space. On entering we walked into the bar and were shown to our table, at that time we had the restaurant to ourselves.
The waiting ladies were attentive and took our order quickly, the menu was varied and sounded great.
The George burger and steak and ale pie were tasty and would recommend without hesitation, the burger was a little pink for me so I did leave some.
Dessert cake in the shape of chocolate brownie and lemon cheesecake, again both fresh and moorish.
Had a great couple of visits whilst we were staying at nearby Barlings campsite. There were 14 of us and the meals we had were excellent. The bonus for us was that it’s dog friendly too.
I've only attended classic car meetings in their car park. But on these occasions, I've ordered coffee, & drinks from the bar. Theres a great range, & selection of alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages.
The pub is always a very warm, friendly & welcoming place. The food must be great, as there are always lots of people enjoying the dining experience. I have promised myself a sit down meal, when friends & family next visit. If I lived closer, I would visit this great, local community pub & restaurant much more often.

Lovely meal enjoyed here. Plenty of parking, ideal when in motorhome! Meal was of good quality but reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful and polite.
Very friendly greeting on arrival restaurant very clean and modern .They have a varied a menu to suit all taste.I went for the Whitebait for starters followed by Steak pie ,my fellow diner's had linguini and a very tasty looking burger all were very good portions. Definitely deserves another visit when in the area.
Got a late afternoon booking for Sunday lunch and very nice it was to! Our first visit to The George and it won’t be our last, it was welcoming, clean, and the food was really good, plenty of parking and found out it was dog friendly so will take our mutt next time. Thank you!
Beautifully decorated, lovely staff, free help yourself to water area. Food was great, all 3 of us had different starters and mains and were impressed with it all. One person had the burger (and has tried many great burgers/street food places all over the world) and said it was one of the best they'd had on a long time. Will be returning and already recommended to others
We attended an American car show there on Saturday, it was an excellent well attended show. We stayed overnight on Saturday in our campervan for free which can be booked by calling them. We had both food and drink there, the quality and value was very good and we can recommend them
Beautiful roast beef dinner was had by 3 of us on Sunday, lovely and hot with a good selection of fresh vegetables. My grandson struggled to finish his, but he did because it was very tasty. We all agreed that it was one of the nicest lunches we have had in a long time. We will be back Thank you. Denise Claxton
Visited for the first time today with my friends and our dogs. Very friendly and efficient staff and the chef actually came out and gave our dogs some food. WOW, I've never experienced that before, would definitely recommend.
Was staying near by in rented house and we decided to book a table for 5. Lovely food and service. Our youngest son loves fish and chips and said it was a solid 10 out of 10.

Dropped in on the way home from Skegness. Hadn't booked but were given a table. Had a fabulous Sunday roast and our Grandson had the rump steak, gorgeous. Pudding was also amazing. Thank you 😊
Staying nearby, they were extremely busy but managed to fit us in. It was so nice we booked for a second night, and it was the same quality of food. Delicious. staff were extremely welcoming
Visited whilst staying in the village for a few days - what a great place Zara and Ben have!
Such a lovely atmosphere and the locals were as friendly as could be. On the Saturday night I had a Fantastic Steak and the Mrs had a perfectly cooked couple of Sea Bass fillets.
The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Very reasonably priced and large portions too.
It was so good that we booked in again the next day for a Sunday Lunch, needless to say we were not disappointed... Top notch again!
Would definitely recommend a visit to the The George.

Would give 4.5 stars if it were possible. Went for a family evening meal recently and fair to say was very surprised at how good the food was, and incredible value. 3 real ales too inc a fab stout. I had a halibut main which was delicious and under £20. Will definitely be going again!
