Fantastic for gluten free menu, coped very well with our large party without much notice and even brought some garlic bread for the kids because we had a little bit of a wait for our food. 241 offer cut a huge slice off the bill for our lunch.

The staff worked very hard considering they are expected to serve as a reception area for rhe hotel on site. Breakfast was lovely and we had burgers in the garden grill bar in the evening which were delicious. Too much is put on the staff in the main bar, more should be done to assist them. I spoke to one of the members of staff and said l would send a letter to head office as that is where the instructions come from. We had a lovely weekend there staff very friendly and reasonable prices for food and drink.

I was lucky enough to win a competition for four free meals and a bottle of wine. Not only did I get this all free but I also received the children’s meals free. The food was lovely, really tasty, and the kids had an absolute blast in the play area! They made lots of new friends, enjoyed playing football, and we got to watch the boats (one generous boat stopped and let the kids on board and gave them a guided tour). What a lovely atmosphere. Thankyou so much for your kindness and generosity!

Fantastic place, great food and choices. Breakfast can be included if wanted. Quiet place to unwind and chill. Beautiful an hour walk along the canal to Lincoln. Great shopping center at Lincoln City centre. Bus runs every hour from.the complex to Lincoln.

Food and service was very good and the menu was priced very competitively. The food was hot and enjoyable and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The initial reception on first arrival was a little slow but the staff were busy and it was not a major issue. We had a frail pensioner with us and the lighting at the front entrance could do with improving to light the pathway from the car park.

Generally good food, though it was relatively long wait. This we were made aware of on arrival so was not unexpected. Food came and was good size and tasty for pub food. The brownie dessert was very tasty. Staff were friendly, though could have been more available when waiting for food to give an update.

We stayed here 3 nights while on business in Lincoln, the rooms were clean and tidy. First night a little noisy, doors rattling and water in pipe noises. Second night got the ear plugs in and everything great. No reception at the hotel you have to go into the bar to check in , never like this system but guess it cuts down on staff. Talking of staff all very friendly, great people but lacking the amount of staff. This was apparent in the restaurant very very slow service due to lack of staff. The staff that were there were run off their feet, but always with a smile. Couldn't fault them. Food, well mostly average but at this price point can't really complain having said that the ultimate chicken burger was good. Not a large selection for breakfast but again ok. Would I go back, yes I would.

Parked at woodcocks pub so we could go out on our stand up paddle boards on the river which runs adjacent to the pub, we have paddled from there before during time trials. The staff are friendly and don't have any issues with people using the car park. Once we had finished the paddled we went for a well deserved cold drink after been out in the sun for a couple of hours. The staff was lovely and friendly, very happy to welcome us. Lovely atmosphere, with all types of people from younger people, parents with young kids and slightly older people all happy and enjoying the weather

Absolutely stunning location. Not much around but it's a great stop off towards somewhere else. Beautiful and quiet, plenty of car park spots, a great pub with tasty food. The rooms have everything you need. The beds are a bit narrow and the AC is making a weird noise but everything else is great.

Our room was excellent, especially to meet my wife's disability issues. Our dinner and breakfast were absolutely fine. Best of all were the staff, all of whom were friendly and helpful. I must mention Beth, our evening waitress. She could not be faulted and improved our dining experience. As well as great service, she simply made us smile. I had 4 or 5 conversations with Matt.. He is super efficient and professional. We would not be looking anywhere but Woodstocks the next time we stay in the area. Thank you Andy Harding

Stayed here for work loads this year its absolutely brilliant, one of my favourite stops. Rooms are spotless and modern. Biscuits left every day and cleaned. Location next to canal is perfect for walks and runs. Love it. Been for food couple times which is great value when you do the daily offers. And double up on the chips!

Excellent arrived and was immediately shown to our table (we had prebooked on line) Within a few minutes we were asked if we would like to order drinks which we did, and also gave our food order. Five minutes later our coffee arrived, on asking for some more sugar the lady immediately went to get some. About 20 mins later our main courses arrived, generous servings, tasty, and attractively served. The pub was very very busy so a 20 minute wait was more than acceptable. After our meal we asked for the bill which was produced with the card machine. All staff were neatly dressed, friendly, helpful and professional and are to be commended as the pub was exceptionally busy and they managed to keep everyone happy. The pub was clean, with a pleasant ambiance, cutlery and tables were clean and the pub operated a table service only Overall a good experience and we will not hesitate to return

Nice hotel, pub itself friendly and cheerful. Breakfast a little dear for a small breakfast, but I think it's similar everywhere. Coffee machine both broke down. Beer garden lovely, food served to people looked lovely 😍

I was recommended the Woodcocks by a friend as a place to stopover whilst completing a charity bike ride. Nothing was too much trouble from arranging an evening meal for 14 and breakfast the following day to the just simple courteous and friendly attitude of all the staff. Well done to Matt and his team Gary (Endon Jolly Boys)
