The place is beautiful to walk around. The guides make it better as they point out things you’d never see by yourself. Great place to visit.

Bit upset at having to pay to go to church but understand that not everyone will make a suitable donation and running costs are very high. Well worth the visit. Beautiful wooden carved stations of the cross. Would recommend

Outstanding! Wonderful cathedral, amazing exhibition describing the crucifixion in wood and helpful staff. Have returned today for the Carol concert. Would certainly recommend!

A moving and great place to visit, the only problem and as far as the curates and parishioners is that it is also popular with the film industry, it does bring in the necessary funding the cathedral needs as it does with all other cathedral locations it would be nice to actually get to Lincoln without filming taking place but I lay no blame there, one day I will visit and have a great day, my advice is check online first.

Although you can see it already far away, every time I visit Lincoln (for business purpose) I reserve an hour or so to see the Cathedral close by. Not only the Steep Hill by foot to reach it, but its beauty and size takes my breath away, considering the thought it is build centuries ago. I never had a chance to enter there, but maybe some day... Also the surroundings is nice, parks, the Castle, Roman remains.

Saw Show of Hands on their Cathedrals tour and it was wonderful. The sound and light was marvellous and the concert was a delight. A big thank you to all front of house staff who assisted us to find a super vantage point. Recommended.

Myself and my wife went with my new 2 day old baby boy to a remembrance service organised by Saying Goodbye Mariposa Trust. They hold them all over he country but it was the first time they had come to lincoln. I think they were impressed by the beauty of the cathedral . It was a lovely service and it reminded me how beautiful lincoln cathedral is inside and outside something when you live in lincoln you sometimes forget. We were able to light some candles for our losses and just like almost a sign the sun came out. Thank you to lincoln cathedral for helping restore our faith.

A must visit!! I have been in the day time to look round it is a beautiful building! I couldn't believe how big it was & the different areas that were inside. My other visit was to see my daughter graduate in there. At first I was surprised to know it was to take place at 7.30pm but I think we definitely got the best deal! The cathedral looked stunning all lit up! Breathtaking! What a building to graduate in.

A brilliant place to visit. The climb up to the Cathedral from the town centre is hard going but worth it.

Lincoln cathedral is a must visit for any able bodied visitor, or get on the bus/taxi at bottom of the hill , not going to say anymore ( save the wow factor )

The only snag is the steep hill up to it from the city centre. Needed a few rest stops on the way up but worth it.

I met a friend for lunch at the new Cafe and I have to say that it was absolutely brilliant. Full table service and we got our food really quickly . Absolutely brilliant service. The Cathedral is absolutely stunning. We've been again today and I took my little dog Jake with us.

The breakfast was lovely and a pretty good portion size that was served by nice polite people and it arrived in good time. The café is a well presented clean environment (although the menus do appear a little dog eared which is a shame) at the side of the main Cathedral. It's probably one of the more expensive breakfasts available in the local area if I'm honest...

I had probably the best full English breakfast that I've had in Lincoln for many, many years. Everything was cooked perfectly, nice and warm, well presented and so tasty!! We had fast, table service too. I've visited a few times when its super busy and service can be a little slow, however this visit was perfect from start to finish. £11.50 for a full English; I couldn't go every week for that price (even though i want too!) but I will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family

Lovely & peaceful. At the time it was free entry due to the Queen passing away. Few if the chapels were closed on our visit.

We were warmly welcomed at the door. It's very useful that there is a contactless point to pay your £5: donation. The place is large but there were so many people here because of the Christmas markets being on, that I couldn't enjoy the atmosphere as I would have wanted to. The shop and cafe were disappointing. We were there in time for the choir singing and this did make my day. We will come back.

Beautiful cathedral in excellent condition. The experience would have been improved by an explanatory timeline explaining the life of the Cathedral, particularly the building and collapse of the towers.

Beautiful building, a masterpiece of 12c building and engineering. Such an inspiring place of worship, such vaulted ceilings in the nave, and see the sunlight shine onto the floor, through the stained glass windows. Must visit At Hugh's shrine, and find the Lincoln Imp!!

Beautiful grounds but disappointed in the 'wizard quiz' for the children in Easter break. The chicken wire statues were amazing, well done. Shame you didn't have the said wizard who needed help making an appearance. The guy taking the money even, dressed up, would have been good. My grandchildren wondered where he was after I read the article out to them from the Lincolnshire news letter. And to receive a boiled sweet lolly for Easter prize.......won't bother next year.

The new cafe here is lovely. The food is excellent and plentiful (I mean the portion sizes are good). I went for a full breakfast - perhaps expensive priced at a tenner but good quality and lots of stuff. It's definitely not the cheapest meal out but don't let that stop you. My only other issue is it was noisy when there were lots of people. Apart from the good food and great location to eat. Oh and pets were welcomed as well which is nice to see.
