I recently went in with family to have Sunday dinner yesterday and we loved our experience from start to finish. Yes it's busy however we were greeted by a lady called Katie. She explained the whole process on what we needed to do and then sat us down so our waitress could take our food and drink orders. Food was well cooked and plentiful. We will definitely be back again!
Called in for lunch, we had booked about an hour before so when we arrived they took our name and showed us to our seats, we were promptly provided with our drinks and told we could make our way up to the Carvery.
The food was tasty and we enjoyed every part of it. Priced well for what we had and the environment was warm and inviting.
I would happily go again.
Lunch today was perfect and what made it even better were the staff members. There are honestly no words to describe how amazing Jai (manager) was. As always the restaurant was constantly busy throughout our time of being in there and the guy never stopped! Work rate was absolutely admirable, hospitality was top notch, clearly cares about the people and staff, and an absolute credit to the company!
Lovely, fresh and delicious food! Best Toby I have been to! Staff were so polite and attentive. They couldn’t do enough for us. The manager, I believe her name was Charlotte.. is an absolute ASSET! We will be back !
Food was lovely, fresh and hot when we came at lunch time. Our server, Jai was absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us: very attentive, lovely customer service, professional and when a large group of adults with learning difficulties came in, they were incredibly patient and understanding, talking to the individuals within the group and aiding them with their menu choices. A super asset to the team! :)
Lovely meal here. Much better than the normal Toby carvery we use- we will be using this one instead. Staff really friendly and helpful and didn’t rush us out to leave :)
Dined in on such a busy evening, the wait was a bit longer than expected but regardless, the food was amazing, staff were excellent. Shout out to the young man carving meat in the evening, he dealt with the queue and a staff injury great, very polite. Will definitely be coming back. (Get the gammon!)
Fantastic service, excellent food, all staff went over and beyond my expectations. I was serviced by Harry who escorted us to our table. He took care of us. My server was Maxton who was very attentive, polite and ensured we were taken care of throughout our stay and highlighted the meal deals so that we could save some money on puddings. We will definitely be back 10/10 on all fronts.
Went today with my partner for a cheeky Wednesday dinner. Have never properly spoken to the food server at any Toby Carvery before but we had Rob serve our meal and he was absolutely wonderful, really attentive and funny; made our casual meal out a lot more entertaining and enjoyable. Even managed to convince us to upgrade to King Size which was well worth the money. Food was great as always and we had a fab time!
We often visit here when we go to Lincoln.
The carvery is good value for money, with something for everyone.
What was not good was that the food wasn't hot enough, plates were cold too. I asked for mine to be microwaved so that it was edible, which was done without fuss.
Toilets were clean and an improvement from our last visit.
The staff were all very friendly.
One thing for sure is that you will come out stuffed!!
Another visit for Sunday lunch with family including a toddler. Jai was our server and he was absolutely great with the service he gave us and really helped keep our toddler happy too which is unusual, we sometimes feel when we are out with our toddler that staff can be off but not here we were made to feel so welcome and I've never seen my toddler so happy. The food was delicious too.
We had a good choice of meats, all cooked to perfection.
Lots of choices on veg's & mashed potato and roast potatoes, The gravy was a little thick for my liking, but still very nice.
All the food was nice and hot.
Typing this is making me hungry 😁😁
