Good place to stay especially with the train station round the corner. The only thing that’s let’s it down is the rooms. Nothing is wrong with the price it’s about where it should be but somethings in the rooms need some thought put in. In the room we stayed in lacks proper mirrors and coat hooks. T
Came to stay as visiting friends. Lovely warm welcome from Pippa. Rooms spotless with big fluffy towels. We stayed in the Poachers Mews behind the pub. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Will definitely be staying again.
What a lovely place to stay. Our 3rd time here and definately NOT our last. Rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean. Outside the rooms is a small patio with two 6 seater tables and chairs. Lovely village, great pub, amazing breakfast and dinner. Great for a cheap weekend away. Quiet, secure car park was attractive for the classic car we were driving. Will definitely visit again
