What a hidden gem would really recommend it to anyone well worth a visit lovely food friendly staff but be warned if you bring the better half she will head for the cakes
Been to the lounge a few times now; breakfast, lunch and Sunday roast!! Fabulous place, great atmosphere and lovely food! This was much needed for the village and they have definitely smashed it!!!!
Nice to have somewhere to have a few drinks after work in the sunshine. Staff are amazing along with the menu and drinks choice. Highly recommend to anyone. Keep it up.

Amazing morning catch up with one of my besties over the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had, can’t wait to sample the other menus and of course the odd cocktail or three!
Fab customer service from the staff, all very welcoming and Baby friendly too!

Fantastic to have a great little bar on our doorstep. Hannah and team are really attentive and will make sure everything is ship shape. Yeah there’s been some teething problems but it’s a brand new venture....I think it’s a great place and enjoy the atmosphere, beer and cake � of course!

Visited with my dad this morning for breakfast. Lovely venue with a great atmosphere and really friendly helpful staff. Good coffee and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Mediterranean toast which was so tasty and dad said the eggs Benedict was excellent. We will definately be visiting again soon to try our the lunch menu!
Fabulous food. Even as a Slimming World Consultant there was lots of choice. Plus, I spoke to Hannah and they are happy to make whatever changes they can to accommodate us. Witham is so very lucky to have this place!

Went for a breakfast here last weekend and my word what a monster it was! Delicious. The staff were super friendly too. Atmosphere was great and the decor is very nice too. The only slight nag I had was how long we were waiting from ordering drinks to then ordering food.
Love it here. Been a couple of times now for drinks. We tried the sharing plater yesterday and did not leave disappointed. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely little place, somewhere I would recommend you book first. We were lucky they had availability for us when we arrived but I can see why it is so popular. Excellent food, friendly staff, overall a lovely place to go
Been coming to the Market Lounge since it opened. It’s always been a little disjointed of what it is, cafe, bar or restaurant.
Since the last manger left, it’s got a lot better.
Service is very good as well as the atmosphere. Not that I’ve eaten recently here however, the food coming out does look good and its alway fairly busy which is a good sign.
On my first visit as a customer, while out on a motorcycle ride, I chose the eggs royale. It was finger licking goooood! Everything was tasty, the flavours perfectly blending together on the sourdough bread just gave me the pick up I was looking for. A chilled and friendly environment, for a moment I didn't even feel like getting up to continue my ride. Thanks Gary and crew, keep up the good work. The milkshake was spot on too! A huge thumbs-up, next time I'll be bringing people along!
Owners so friendly and helpful, Staff very polite nothing was too much even when we couldn't decide what to have waitress was very understanding and patient service was 100% food was cooked to perfection, cakes are delicious too could not fault anything very highly recommend anyone to give this place a visit as I know you will want to visit again and again
Great local, staff are amazingly warm, friendly and funny, beer is cold, great selection, lots of spirits/cocktails etc and always a god vibe in there. Love having it on my doorstep. Not had food yet but what ive seen looks delish.

Visited here on Sunday for a roast dinner with my family. Fantastic food, good portions, brilliant service! Manageress, Charlie, couldn’t do enough for us! Made sure we were comfortable, that all our dietary requirements were met and plenty of room for our pushchair. Brilliant atmosphere! Will definitely be returning!
