Not been here for food for a while but decided to give it a try today and so glad we did. Family of 5, 2 adults, teenager and 2 kids and we all agreed it was the best food we'd had out in a long while. Hubby and I had the steak and Doom Bar pudding and it was amazing, cheesy mash was a fantastic accompaniment and gravy was perfect. Teenager had a chicken burger and she said it was spot on and kids had sausage and mash and spaghetti bolognese which was finished in no time at all - always a good indication! Then we had desserts, I went for the strawberry pimms trifle, now anywhere that has trifle on its dessert menu is alright by me and this one didn't disappoint, great size portion of delicious juicy strawberries in pimms with sponge, creamy custody topped with cream and strawberries - perfect. Husband had salted caramel apple crumble and he said it was amazing, not sure about the teenagers profiteroles as she was just sort of purring ��� and the mini puds of brownies for one and doughnuts for the other seemed to disappear fairly quickly as well so don't think there were any complaints!! All in all, a really good meal, would highly recommend a visit and we intend to return soon!

A better carvery than at Toby!!! Really good food, our little boy loved the indoor play area. Also refill drinks! Highly recommended
Great experience for a Sunday night meal out after an activity day. Decent menu, friendly staff and received a voucher with % deal off. It's definitely worth signing up to their loyalty scheme and for their emails too.
What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to make our dining experience enjoyable. The team member for our table was attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to provide recommendations or answer any questions we had.
Overall, my Sunday night dining experience at this restaurant was really good. The combination of a varied menu, friendly staff, and the added perk of a voucher with a percentage discount made it a good evening fix after a long day out.
Think it would have been a 5 really but they were put of stock on 2 menu options that day, but this happens and is just one of those things..

This is a review specifically for Claire, who was working in the play area. Can I just say what an amazing woman..
Today is my birthday, we came in to let the kids have a run around, and she was extremely lovely. My sister was breast feeding her baby, and Claire offered to get her a comfier chair, and even offered to hold the baby for her whilst we ate our food.
My son has autism and can get extremely overwhelmed, she sat with him doing puzzles whilst we ate to help keep him occupied, and was extremely understanding and patient with him, which I never experience any where!! For the first time ever in my life I felt comfortable being out with him knowing I wasn’t being judged. She couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful. Thank you Claire.
All I can say is wow, what an amazing woman. I’ll definitely be coming back in on the days she’s working. (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays).
Things like this make the experience so much better, because of her I had such a lovely birthday (she even put a candle in my brownie after she found out it was my birthday) so thoughtful.
A nice pub to visit with children, the indoor play area is handy and helps to keep the children entertained while you wait for your meals to be prepared.
The food was nice, what you'd expect from pub grub. The children's portions were reasonable, and although there was a mistake with one of our meals, it was rectified quickly with no fuss.
We'd come back again with our small children.
Staff were very friendly and food was good, not much of a vegetarian choice. Price was reasonable. Only downside really was the car park is time limited so we had to move our cars before we got a parking penalty. We did ask about extending the parking duration but were told it's run by outside contractors, so be careful and watch the time you enter the car park.
Popped in for a quick meal with partner and the food was lovely. Decent portion sizes. Staff was lovely and helpful. The restaurant was clean and tidy
It's the 2nd time I have been in resent weeks, there is plenty to eat and not overly busy , which was good .
The only down side is that the orange juice is very weak , so much so my good lady could drink it, but besides that all was good.
As usual, the food was tasty and the portions good, but sadly the fries were almost cold on both mine and my wife's meals. The other items on the plates WERE hot which seems strange. At home, fries always go on last so I can only imagine that in the kitchen, plates are lined up and have fries put on them but then await the various other items required. Not really a complaint but hopefully a constructive observation.
Visited for a birthday celebration with nine adults at v short notice Weds evening. Great service. Very friendly and welcoming staff. All food asked for was available. Great food in a lovely environment.
Great service & choice of foods, but found foods went cold quickly, for what little I had
Popped in for an evening meal and wasn't disappointed, good food, the bottomless drinks are great value and we were seated in a relatively quiet corner.
Our food order delivered to another table. So had to wait sometime longer to get our meal (other table had ordered similar and didn't notice they had wrong meal). Sorted ok. Place was a bit cold and not very attractive. Food was OK, prices ok.
