Enjoyed our evening. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the food. My brother enjoyed his evening for his birthday the fudge cake with a candle was a lovely touch thank you so much! Definitely coming back.
Hired the function house for our daughters 18th birthday! Great communication from the start, amazing staff, fab building! The buffet was lovely and plenty of it! Highly recommend!

Had the most amazing baby shower in the out house barn. The manager and staff could not have been more helpful, we created some beautiful memories that day. The hot buffet was gorgeous and plentiful, would highly recommend to others.
Fab experience, very busy place waited a while for food but was so worth it. I even had to change the order whilst waiting as I forgot to ask when ordering. Nothing was too much trouble. Beer garden was glorious and full, fog friendly and just a great atmospheric space. Highly recommend 👌

Food good. Service fast and very friendly. Only gripe was a very sticky table. Think the cleaning fluid used reacts with the varnish. Took the edge off a otherwise very pleasant evening.
Nice enough pub close to the buzz of the castle. Enjoyed sitting outside in the sun and supping a nice drink. Bar staff were very good, we unfortunately went when they were having staff issues and our meal was delayed by about an hour. However fair play they gave is free drinks to keep us happy.

Me and my daughter came for lunch today had a mixed grill, steak was done to our liking chicken and gammon were perfect. Chips were amazing and then the mushrooms were amazing. Good Value great service would deffo recommend x
We have date night on a Wednesday and decided to try lion & snake for the first time. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely with great music playing, would highly recommend. We will be back for another date night :) pic is me with my first drink after sober October :)
