Probably the Best pub in Lincoln all was great 😃👍
Amazing place. They have weekend offers
A good sized pub with indoor and outdoor seating. A good selection of beer was available. Staff were polite and friendly.
The menu looked good but we didn't eat.
This is certainly more of a dining restaurant than drinking pub, but fortunately it was quiet enough when I visited to be able to occupy a small table by the bar. The staff member behind the bar was truly lovely, giving a brilliant welcome and setting the tone for the rest of my friendly stay. The decor is really well done, felling high end and cosy with everything very clean. The blackboards on the wall gave an indication that there’s lots of events they host and it’d be worth repeat visits. There wasn’t the largest range of alcoholic drinks by the bottle available, but what was there was priced well for the venue and I’d really recommend visiting for a meal as well as relaxing drink.
Good place to relax with friends. Quiz night every Monday. Fried cauliflower is very tasty, highly recommended. Free parking outside pub for 15-20 cars. Service is very quick and staff are very nice.
What a fantastic place!!! Gorgeous food and a lovely atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. This pub is definitely worth a visit
Cozy pub that serves a wide variety of ales (alongside lager, wine, and spirits fornthose who don'tfancy ale) at reasonable prices. It's nothing fancy. Rather, it is comfortable and welcomes all. You often find a mix of locals, tourists, dogs, and students enjoying what this pub has to offer. The rear beer garden is spacious, but due to its location below the Castle walls, feels intimate and cozy. It's a fab place to spend an afternoon or evening.
Because i'm gluten free i have to investigate where to eat before visiting so when we decided to take our teens and dog out to Lincoln i found a couple of options near the town centre. The route to this pub takes you on a lovely walk down the marina and is close to all the amenities. They were happy for our dog to come in and showed us to the tables we could sit at, there were dog treats available and water if we needed it. The gluten free guide was easy to follow and I was surprised that the pie was gluten free, which i had and it was delicious. Boys had burger and chips and hubby had steak baguette and chips. Nothing left on anyones plate. Not the cheapest place but the quality and service was exceptional.
Fantastic & very friendly service.
The Carrot & Coriander Soup was lovely and came with a lovely soft warm baguette. The Lentil Cottage Pie sadly wasn't quite as nice and the mash on top was completely solid.
Had two Sunday lunches which were both tasty although the Pork 'crackling' was a bit 'sponge' like and the veg a little on the cool side, however a good friendly 'local' just away from the bustling Waterfront.
Lovely place to eat, staff go above and beyond to help. Lovely atmosphere gorgeous food and dog friendly 🙂
Good pub with a good menu. There's a decent sized beer garden. The only negative point is that they don't except cash, however it's still worth a visit.
I liked this place. They had a nice burger which was suitable for veg/vegan. The kids didn't really like the cheesey pasta so maybe having a tomato base pasta for kids would be a better suggestion. Food prices have gone up everywhere so can't do very much about the bill.
The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was good, and the price was reasonable. Would highly recommend going if you haven't been x
I can't comment on the food as we didn't try it, although it looked good. The beer was excellent though, staff were friendly and the atmosphere good, despite the damp weather.
Nice little traditional style pub with a good menu, popular beers on tap as well!!! Great service, super staff.
