Stayed 4th to 5th April - x2 rooms, group of 4. The staff were truly fab, gorgeous accommodation - only trumped by the 1st class breakfast. Bailgate is the best part of the city, a moments walk from the Catherdral, Steep Hill & Westgate. It's the only place I'll consider staying from now on.

I had a very enjoyable stay here recently, although sadly very brief. We stayed on a half board basis and found the food to be amazing. Lots of choice and very accommodating to my husbands dietary needs. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and staff were attentive and polite. The rooms were luxurious and comfty and had all the amenities we needed, great views of the Castle which is only minutes away from the hotel along with the Cathedral. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend others to do so.
Had lunch with two friends yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Hake in filo pastry was excellent. Best meal out I’ve had for a long time.

Great food in a semi formal causal setting. The lunchtime menus are amazing value for such well presented food. Blade of beef that falls apart on the fork!
Wonderful setting and truly delicious food with 1st class service. The menu has great choice with 1st glass ingredients, what more could you want.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The haddock in mustard butter was fabulous and perfect with asparagus in a light batter. The desserts were also delicious and the service top notch.

Small quaint restaurant, with pleasant friendly staff. Usually a quiet room, only tainted by the noise of our group! The food was fantastically cooked, props to the chef for some finely prepared dishes. Good wine list too.

Amazing food, excellent service, and very reasonable prices. A quiet place with relaxing music, it's been such a great experience I almost didn't want to go out to continue my tour of Lincoln. Definitely recommended, definitely will come back!
lovely hotel, friendly staff. our room was lovely, comfortable and cosy. i was very happy with the hotel. its location is perfect, situated in the centre of the town so not far to walk to anywhere. breqkfast in the morning was very nice, not too much on the plate but not too little, just right. deservers to be a 5* hotel.
Very comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely view from our room over the castle. Poached duck eggs in the morning were delicious.
