This is the best Italian restaurant I've been to the staff were very friendly and had a laugh with us the food was out of this world cooked to perfection and in such a quaint place I would recommend it to everyone Sally x
Celebrated my 70th birthday with family and friends last Friday. The menu was so varied and appealing, choosing was hard - when the meals arrived they were superb. And the desserts.....wow. The owner and his staff were so kind; allowed my daughter to decorate our table with confetti, banners, balloons; the young lady waiting at table obligingly appeared towards the end with cake and candles. This is an authentic Italian restaurant, with superb food and service. Go and try it!
After a few of my friends telling me about this place we decided to try it... We used to love Romans place but that closed a few years ago... I am so happy we found this little gem... The waiting staff were great.. They informed us of the specials which I had one and it was perfect. The menu had a good choice but not too many choices which is brilliant. Over all a beautifully cooked meal!! Will be returning very soon xx

Booked for my parteners 61st birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was first class and generous portions, love the quaintness of the restaurants decor, you feel like you're dining in an Italian families home. We will be back as we have decided that we want to taste everything on the menu.
Came here recently with friends and had the best time. The food was so so delicious. The service was incredible and they were friendly, making us feel so welcome as if we were visiting a family friend. They have an adorable courtyard where you can dine out and it is so cozy. I’m definitely bringing everyone I know here. The pistachio tart is a MUST!

Exceptional meal . All the food we had was delicious. Tomato garlic bread is a must . All the sauces in the dishes were so tasty . Will definitely be back .
Although it’s quite small inside , there’s a really nice atmosphere. Staff were all really friendly and nothing too much trouble . Can’t wait for our next visit .
Lovely place, staff and experience. From the outside you could easily walk past, but it's certainly worth going inside. We sat outside on their hidden garden terrace, but inside is great too if you make a booking, we hadn't, but they managed to accommodate us outside. The food was delicious and well presented. Sadly we ate our mains too quickly for a photo, but managed to remember to snap the desserts. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and polite especially the younger more energetic members. The manager knew what he was doing and served us quickly and professionally. A great experience all round.
Lovely family run business. One of the best Italian meals I’ve had. The wait was a little longer than our booked time due to it being very busy, however the staff were very friendly and apologetic. Will definitely be coming back again!

We had an exceptional traditional Italian meal for lunch. The mains and desserts that we had on the lunch deal were incredible. The staff were very accommodating with our infant which is always appreciated. We'll definitely be returning.
A very nice little restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner. The food was excellent. We had two pasta dishes and dessert all very well cooked and tasty.
Working in Lincoln for 3 months and living out of a hotel every week, I needed a regular place to eat. I have tried a lot however, I have now completed me here 4 times on the bounce. Working through the menu. Which there is a lot of authentic Puglia food and wine.
Seriously good food cooked fresh pasta. Can't say what my favourite is as they have all been superb.
Table service is excellent and attentive. Recommendations are made when not sure what to have.

The best Italian restaurant and the best Italian food I like in UK!!!!! They are so welcoming and warm. A very lovely place to go. Any dishes with Chicken is great! The pizza is nice and fresh. Pasta amazing too!!!! Hope to come next time!!

Absolutely AMAZING! We came as a family for my boyfriends birthday (it was the first time for him and myself). I couldn’t recommend La Trattoria more - the customer service was 10/10 and the food was sensational - would recommend the tomato garlic bread as a starter - by far the best thing I have ever eaten from any restaurant!!!! Couldn’t recommend more to anyone - perfect for any occasion. I also loved that the chef came out to bring out food and give us information about desert (the chocolate cheesecake is delicious!!!)
When looking for somewhere for a nice meal, I had a good feeling about this place. And I was right! Should have booked but they had a spare table. Complimentary appetiser was unexpected, and lovely. Had mains and dessert. Sensational, plate lickingly good food. True Italian food, by Italians. There were even Italians coming in to eat - a sign of a great restaurant indeed

An absolute gem of a restaurant, hidden away in an unusual location.
Mario the chef cooked some first rate enjoyable food. We had the lunch tapas, which was so good we had two extra dishes.
Without doubt, we will be returning.
Do not be put off by the appearance of this restaurant (it looks like someone's house) the food is absolutely excellent! Authentic Italian cuisine at its best! We had a starter and main in the cozy garden with a great atmosphere, very welcoming and attentive staff and overall a truly enjoyable experience.
Great meal last night. Attentive and speedy service (and the restaurant was bustling at 5.30pm), very tasty menu items (especially the wild boar ragu pasta, and pistachio tart), which, along with the house wines, were reasonably priced. We'd certainly come back again.
