Lovely place to come for a Sunday lunch. They have seating inside and outside and the front is a real sun trap.
There is a two or three course option for a set price which was reasonable. Delicious food and would certainly return. The staff were friendly and attentive.
You can sit outside with the dog too!

The service here is absolutely faultless. They couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating.
Especially for me - as a pescatarian whose in-laws love a roast, I'm often stuck with a russian roulette of vegetarian substitutes (usually a nut roast). However my partner emailed the restaurant a few days before asking if it would be possible to substitute the nut roast for some vegetarian sausages and they did it no problem whatsoever.
I will definitely be back!
Fine dining at its best! Cannot fault the food, as in its flavour and presentation, absolutely impeccable!
We had 3 course's to include Pigeon, Hare, Duck and Beef followed by delicious deserts.
The service was welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere relaxing and comfortable.
We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and chose from the A La Carte lunchtime menu dining in the restaurant.
I honestly have not a bad word or critism regarding the food or service, 200% Fabulous!!
Lovely staff and good atmosphere. For starter we had wood pigeon breast and rabit. The taste was good but it could be a bit warmer. For main we had steak pie and lamb which were both perfect
Went to Number 38 at The Tower for the first time on a Monday evening, having seen lots of wonderful things on Social Media.
This is a fantastic dining experience in every sense of the word - The food, the service and the absolute value for money is all first class - A must visit for anyone who enjoys great food
Sadly food not to the standard we have had previously. Ordered Fish n Chips...fish not as fresh as I have had before..fish over cooked and 2/3rds batter under cooked other 3rd very dark and tasted burnt. Very disappointed.

We forgot to take some photos of the food, but we had some very good food. The atmosphere was lovely, staff were very attentive and there was a nice buzz to the restaurant. Our table was in the window and was a little drafty but other than that was good.
Both starters were excellent, I had the King Scallops and my wife had Goat Cheese Bon Bons with Textures of Beetroot, the only thing I would say was that the ham terrine the scallops were served on was cold(ment to be) and this cooled the whole dish quite quickly. The goats cheese starter was very pretty and nicely finished.
For main I had the Halibut and my wife had the Plate of Pork. The Halibut was delicious, cooked perfectly and served with a butter sauce which was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife's pork dish was beautiful however slightly under seasoned and would be exceptional if the pork was a little bit better quality.
For dessert I had the Blackberry and Pistachio Torte and my wife had the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Both were excellent dishes, I particularly enjoyed the blackberry sorbet on mine and the homemade ice cream on my wife's was delicious, the sticky toffee pudding was made with stout which added a delicious richness to it.
We finished with a cheese board to share which was one of the most generous cheese boards we've had. The homemade onion chutney was delicious and it was nice to see a preference to local cheeses, however it would have been nice to know what there were instead of having to guess, we thought they were probably Lincolnshire Poacher, Cote Hill Blue and Lincoln Imp.
All in all a very nice experience, consistent good quality food at a fair price and this was reflected in how busy the restaurant was. Would happily eat here again and recommend.
Had a rib -eye steak sandwich, and Faye had the Cauliflower soup with picante oil. It was the best sandwich of my life, she said the same of her soup. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was very comfortable.
Twas a cold and windy day and we came seeking shelter. Was there any space at the inn? Actually there was a table for two by the front window!!! Thank goodness. Food was amazing, I had beef suet pudding and my lady had the lamb. Staff were so nice , friendly and helpful. Lincoln Christmas Market was in full swing too but still time to chat with us. Sticky toffee pudding with cinder toffee to follow,could have stayed all day!! Complements to the chef and all the staff. Don't miss this little gem. I quite honestly found it by mistake.
Haven't visited for a meal here in years but came back for a late lunch sitting and was pleasently surprised by everything offered here. Food was delicious with generous portions, staff were attentive but not over the top. Priced well and warm busy atmosphere.
Very happy and will go again soon.
Wonderful restaurant. The food was fantastic and the staff enjoyed the banter with our party. Very reasonable prices for such good quality. We are returning tomorrow for dinner again.

I met a friend for lunch today and I had the Chicken and Bacon club sandwich with chips and it was absolutely delicious 😋 100% recommend a visit.
