Well!! What a hidden gem!!
Words can't describe how delicious the food is here! There isn't any other cafe in lincoln like it! Full of flavour, fresh ingredients and good size portions! Being a massive coffee fan, I would say there coffee is probably the best i've had! Its smooth and delicious!
The staff, are well presented and polite! You can tell its a popular cafe as when people are coming in they are getting welcomed like friends not just customers!
This cafe has now become my favourite to go to! So much so i have been three times this week (whoops) !

Visited with my very young son yesterday and absolutely loved it. The food was lovely as was the atmosphere along with the presentation of the food and the cost being very reasonable. What really made the experience was how kind and welcoming the staff were to my baby. A big fuss was made over my son and staff even asked if I needed any help when I clearly had my hands full. Will be visiting again as it was overall lovely.
Best service and food in Lincoln. Absolutely love this place and so did my little boy who celebrated his first birthday with a complimentary ice cream.
The coffee is also great and the meat platter is definitely one to be beaten.

I can't believe I haven't stumbled across this place before... what a little gem of a place ... food (pizza) was outstanding, fabulous service and a amazing atmosphere... I have been telling others just in case like me they have been missing out �

Fantastic little cafe. I was in Lincoln for a few days and popped in a few times, I had the pizza, gelato and one of their crepes, all delicious. I felt like I was in Spain.

What a fantastic independent cafe restaurant! The pasta was first class and the welcome extremely warm from all the smiling young girls. The service all round was excellent. Thoroughly recommend to all. �
Bar unico is a excellent Italian coffee shop .The coffee and the food is really nice.The staff who work there are very helpful and friendly and they always,make you feel welcome.The location of the cafe is easy to find as well.Being just off the main shopping street.
Since my youngest son started at Lincoln University this has become a regular of mine when visiting him. Fantastic food, coffee and the Gelato is the best I have tasted outside of Italy! Gio and staff certainly know the meaning of hospitality

Bar Unico is the place to visit for the best coffee and cake in town. The piadina sandwiches are also wonderful. Lovely, friendly staff and great service.
We had a fabulous time at Bar Unico on Saturday for my daughters 9th birthday. Fantastic food, great service and wonderful coffee. Very relaxing for the adults whilst 14 little girls all had a fabulous feast. Thank you to all the staff for making my daughters birthday very special.
A relaxing oasis in the city centre. Stop here for coffee and cake or, as I did, a light lunch while I was waiting for a train. I had pizza which was, as described on the menu, a light lunch. Don’t order this if you want a gut-busting pizza as it’s not that type of place. The pizza was good (but not exceptional - not sure the pizza base was made on site) and my wife’s sandwich was good, too, with top quality ingredients. Love the atmosphere and the decor is smart.

I had the Bar Unico breakfast and my wife has the salmon and poached egg on toast both of which we good.
Been meaning to try here for a long time, it did not disappoint, the food was glorious. I had the unico special pizza. All fresh and made in house. Also because I had a nice seat in the window I goto see everyone else’s food pass by, which too looked amazing.
The service is fantastic, greeted with smiles and a warm welcome.
I throughly enjoyed my lunch here and I will be back again to try some other things.
It’s also worth noting that they do offer gluten free options!
Beautiful cafe with fabulous pizzas. The affogato is amazing and well worth a visit just for that. Really lovely and friendly staff also.

Short visit for a birthday gelato with my daughter: we sampled pistachio,chocolate and strawberry and it was yummy!
I've had many nutella milkshakes from this place its a lovely place. The staff are cool especially the huge guy with a beard he's a very nice guy; I'd want to play a game of chess with him. I really recommend also I love the glass the milkshake comes in.
Very very nice bread in their sandwiches - chewy inside, crispy outside, really light & flavourful. Also had a slice of the pancake cake, which was a brilliant idea well executed!
The best coffee in the city centre! I usually have soup or pasta, always fresh, really tasty. I'm looking forward to trying the range of gelato in warmer weather! Great service, good value, a lovely place.
Wonderful little place. Went for lunch today, first time I've ever been there. Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere and gorgeous food. Will definitely be returning!
Coffee delicious as always. Staff very friendly and helpful. Today I had lemon pancake and I can honestly say best one I have ever tasted. My husband had rustic toast and marmalade. Again very tasty.
Bar Unico always our first stop when we visit Lincoln.
We ate here for the first time yesterday. It certainly won’t be the last. The food was delicious, the coffee was excellent and the cake after was absolutely to die for. All that along with really nice friendly staff is a winning combination. Add that to a very reasonably priced bill and you have the perfect formula for customers who will return. Like us!!
