We had a really lovely evening. Everyone was very attentive. The food was delicious and our server was very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Very impressive given that there was 15 in our group. Thank you very much. My son had a wonderful birthday celebration.
Great meal and value as we did the set menu. Our waitress, Millie, was brilliant. She was kind and friendly. We would recommend eating here.
We were greeted by a member of staff who was very welcoming, and showed us to our table and asked if we had any dietary restrictions (we didn’t). Food and service were both great. Food came out quickly and was enjoyed by the whole family. The waitress who served us was very friendly and even accommodating to the dog, bringing him water and treats. All round great service and will definitely come again.

We were a party of eight and weere cordially greeted on arrival at The Inkwell.
We were shown to our table which was laid out ready for us.
We ordered drinks and were really well looked after by a member of the team.
Unfortunately we had two problems with the food.
Firstly it was warm to near cold.
Booked 5 of us for lunch to celebrate Moms birthday. Greeted straight away on arrival and given choice of tables. Drinks order taken and delivered swiftly. Lovely pub, but the Sunday roast was very disappointing with unedible hard roasters and a Yorkshire pudding that was made with concrete I think!
I did bring this to the attention of the server who acknowledged my complaint.
Maybe it was an off day .
We came on the weekday evening for a large family meal for Dads 70th birthday and had great service, lovely chilled atmosphere and very helpful staff especially Trina. The food was great and good portions. The lotus sundae went down a treat too. Many thanks.
Toni our server was absolutely brilliant and attentive. Nothing was a problem for her definitely will be going again food was absolutely stunning.
Always great service from bar staff and waiters, our dogs love it in there and the free treats are a nice bonus. Nice drinks and the food was ok too plus we enjoyed the quiz.
On arrival we were taken to our table quickly. Drinks were ordered within 15mins but waited nearly an hr for food. Food was very tasty when it arrived. Staff were friendly but it was very busy hence the wait I think. Worth a visit but maybe avoid busy times.
