I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a cafe. It really takes you back to a time not quite forgotten. The food was absolutely first class. We all had the full English breakfast with traditional pots of tea. Everything was cooked perfectly and piping hot. Even the jukebox was in perfect workin
Lovely friendly welcome. I had a sausage and bacon on brown with a cappuccino, delicious and filling. Lovely atmosphere and great decor with old photos of Lichfield. Old black and white TV showed old TV shows. Dog friendly and you get a blanket and treat for the dog! Look forward to trying thier R
A unique cafe/restaurant in Lichfield, one you'd be hard to find anywhere else in England. It's got 2 rooms, one 1940s themed and another 60s. A local couple run it and the food is amazing. They had great vegan options too (vegan stew pictured) so can cater to most groups. Can recommend if you wan

We were passing having visited Dr Johnson's house and popped in for lunch. Beautiful staff and inspiring dΓ©cor. Great food and very reasonably priced. The find of the year and we'll be returning as a good place to meet friends in the region.
Food is amazing all freshly cooked nothing microwaved. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful atmosphere and such a great collection of memorabilia our grandson Jack really enjoyed playing games whilst he waited for his lunch. He loved the jukebox.
What a gem! You could probably spend a while in here without even eating. But, then you eat. I had Rabbit stew, my partner had Beef. So good!
