Stopped for a pub lunch after a long walk. Very helpful staff, real ales and freshly prepared classic pub food. Five stars if had been just a bit cleaner around our table.

Just eaten, ,had steak and chips with peppercorn sauce, my husband had a mixed grill, it was absolutely amazing, thank you, and the service was excellent

Food here is great value, hot and tasty. Mixed grills and steaks arrived on a skillet and all were cooked as requested. Only reason for giving a 4 not 5 is that the only cask ale on offer was Pedigree which is not a favourite...but it was in decent condition.

Good local pub. Needs some TLC . Not a pub I visit often but beer very good.
