Absolutely fantastic cocktail range! We sat outside and it was a lovely atmosphere both in the bar and outside. We ordered a buzz killer, which included an edible flower that numbed your mouth as part of the cocktail experience. I've never experienced anything like that before, the staff were friend
We love this great pub. Normally pop in on a Friday and have a couple of cobs, of which are lovely and fresh. This tempted us to try their Sunday carvery. Wow! So glad we did. The 4 meats on offer were so lovely and tender, along with a nice selection of vegetables. Absolutely huge portions of meat,
Food was lovely. I had the 8oz steak, it was cooked exactly how i requested everything to accompany the steak was just as well. Lady on the bar taking orders was very friendly and welcoming. Even offered to bring over my drink when it was ready to save me waiting. Great pub, refurb and new managemen
Nice ye olde world pub with a lot of visual references to the local history of the area. Decorated with original wooden Tudor beams from the something-century! I didn't eat so I can't give an opinion on food. Nice enclosed beer garden with an entrance/exit that leads to a public car park.
Called in on a reccomendation from a local shop owner, was not dissapointed. Best value carvery we have ever had, and the treacle sponge and custard was amazing too!

Really nice carvery, fresh vegetables, tasty pork,could have eaten a plate full of roasters they were that nice , pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped here for lunch, we sat outside on the benches - no garden as such but plenty of outdoor space. The bar lady was friendly and efficient, and food was quick and tasty - plenty of options.
