I feel like I live here sometimes! Very friendly and fast service, and the food quality is so consistent that you always know exactly what you'll be getting. I've not tried everything on the menu, but everything I've had is so tasty. I even love the colourful teapots! The thought that has gone into the authentic setting and background music makes this a place I'll keep introducing new people to because they end up loving the place just as much as I do. The most common thing I hear them say is, "How have I never known about this place? It's amazing!" It truly is a hidden gem. Keep up the great service and food, ladies. :)

Celebrated my 60th birthday there on 5th March. It was fabulous. As always there was excellent service, wonderful food and all the staff are so warm and friendly. My friends and family (most who had never been before) also thought it was lovely, with lots of comments about the delicious crepes. Thank you for making my night so lovely. *It is my favourite place and have been coming here for many years, whether it has been for a coffee or to have a lovely meal. It's a great place to come all year round. Do try it out for yourself!!

An unreserved visit to our favourite eatery, now sadly not open any evening. We’re a tad boring and always have the same order - but it’s because it’s great food. We think we’ve been going to the Pear Tree for around 25 years now. That tells the story!!

Exquisite. Hubby and I have just returned from an impromptu lunch in one of our most favourite restaurants. We have enjoyed the mouth-watering delights here, right back from one of our first dates, over 20 years ago. The quality, taste, menu, presentation and service are never less than 100%. Pricing is reasonable too. We have relished every single visit here. Mushroom Stroganoff galette for hubby, and either Smoked Salmon and cream, Goats Cheese with Walnuts and Tomato Coulis or the Spinach and Cream Cheese for me. Can't be beaten with a side order of green and carrot salads dressed in their own impeccable dressing! Profiterole pancake for dessert. Crisp edged hot pancake, filled with cold, vanilla cream ice - cream and drizzled in rich, dark hot chocolate sauce. Divine. Every time.

Thank you for a lovely afternoon and making my sister's baby shower so special. The staff were amazing and really accomodating allowing us to decorate the room to our seaside theme. The food was beautiful and quick to arrive giving us time to fit in our party games. Would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to celebrate a special day. Thank you again.

A lovely little french creperie that we have been enjoying for a few years now. The galettes, french onion soup and traditional french cider in cups are simply delicious. The crepes with fresh pear and hot belgian sauce are scrumptious as is the wonderful range of Movenpick ice cream flavours. Highly Recommend...

It is a very lovely place. We have been coming here for years and the food is always great. Service is fantastic and it is a lovely place to eat in. Also the Cider is amazing. Will be definitely coming here again and will keep on bringing my friends here too. Although I do like it for dates with my wife alone too 😁

Lovely crêpes - a crepe with lemon sauce was amazing and so was the one with chocolate sauce. Service was great and friendly. You can go for a walk in the fairy forest outside afterwards or browse the little shops. Ample free parking

Recently, I came across this Midlands gem @thepeartreecreperie located just outside of Lichfield at @heartofthecountryvillage and decided to make this a Friday afternoon treat to myself ❤️ This! Was probably one of the best things I've eaten in a while. It's called a Galette - buckwheat flour savoury pancakes - loaded with salad, bacon, mushrooms, and goat's cheese. Heaven 😭😍 As their name may give away, they are also an excellent place for crepes.

Lovely crêpes - the La grande was amazing and so was the La complete. Service was great and friendly. Coffee was great with lots of options. You can go for a walk in the fairy forest outside afterwards or browse the little shops. Free parking. There is also outdoor seating.

You really can't go wrong with crepes. They're a fairly neutral taste and you just order the food you really like and that's it. You get handed a little packet of gastronomic delight. Your favourite food, put in a little servíng device. Mine was a sweet one, all maple-y and sugary. Could just as easily have been eggs and bacon, which I'm sure would have been just as delicious. However, the genius move here is the serving hatch. They didn't seem to have it open when I was there (It was fairly windy mind) but it must make them a fortune. You see, in people's minds there's a commitment, a positive action and a whole sequence of etiquette when you walk into a restaurant. It's not often an impulse action. There must have been thousands of folk who "Nearly" bought a crepe, but couldn't be bothered with the whole restaurant thing. But with a hatch, it's like buying a Twix from the corner shop. Walking round the village, brain says "Blood glucose a bit low........Sugar and carbs over there" and you say a few words to the lass stood in the window and in two minutes you have the answer to all your problems in your hand - Easy,.........And wonderful!!!

I've been here a few times now, very nice and pleasant location. Calming atmosphere with pleasant staff. The food was good as well as the service. There is plenty of parking, which is just a very short distance to all the amenities.

Called in for a cup of tea whilst on the road... Ended up with a rhubarb crumble crêpe which was incredible! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, it was early and no one else about but still, we had similar friendly service at Christmas when we last visited and they were very busy then! (Mine was a take out hence the box in the photo) And most importantly they listen to how you'd like your tea and make it accordingly - so many places make awful tea, it is always welcomed to find somewhere who make it properly!

Can't comment on food as just had coffee. Staff were absolutely lovely. Attentive and smiling the whole time. We hadn't booked and quite a few tables were reserved and this was on a Wednesday so I would advise to pre book. We were seated on a reserved table but just had to be gone by the time of the reservation which was fine. Didn't use the facilities. Coffee nice. Decor lovely. Would visit again.

We come here fairly regularly and I always look forward to it! The staff are lovely and the food is great. Both the savoury galettes and sweet crepes are really yummy and nicely presented, with lots of choice, and the truffle fries and spicy mayo are really good. They often have specials as well; the cheesy fries with Toulouse sausage that they're doing at the moment are amazing comfort food. It is worth booking as it does get busy, and you'll want to specify a downstairs table if you have any mobility issues.

Very nice crêpes, (see pictures), nice setting, easy(ish). I had the Banana, ice cream and chocolate sauce - very very good. Would definitely recommend due to cheapish prices and quick waiting times. I must say though, book in advance. Will come again!
