I was lichfield just for visit my dentist and wanted to have little fun in there town. So I found here really warm and nice with a cup of perfect cappuccino. The smoking area was so beautiful.

I love relaxing in this pub, it's got a certain ambiance. Not really sure what it is. No TVs helps maybe..

Staff are so welcoming and always with a smile we had the cheese board and pork pie and wow could not fault it.. perfect
Always a great night at the angel at the weekend, with either A DJ or a band to entertain. Not the biggest pub and can be a bit snug, but good beer, some good snacks like pork pie, sausage rolls etc. And good service.
Really lovely oldy world pub, with a great atmosphere and good music.

Much like the Cooper's Tavern in Burton, this is an immaculate real ale pub. Fantastic choice of well kept ale. Proper pub food options. Sympathetic, traditional interior. A quiet Tuesday night, the young lads on the bar were very helpful, not fiddling with their mobiles, ensuring the pub looks well
Great bar with a good selection of drinks; a friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices.
There's live music on some nights too.

I always like going here when having a few drinks in Lichfield. Beer is well kept with a good selection, staff are polite and it has a great atmosphere.
