My daughter was singing here so we visited to support her.
Must say the place was spotless and well decorated.
Staff were friendly and quick to serve.
Did was surprisingly good as atmosphere was great
Everyone was so supportive of the band and we all had an excellent time.

I had the best burger I have ever had - cooked well and fresh ingredients, with amazing fries. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My sisters had one of the starters. See pics

Excellent service (especially the female server) and great value for money. Three adults, two kids, spent a lovely afternoon here. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot, and the children were very, very happy with the choices (they're not always easy to please). Very relaxing atmosphere and, for the grown ups, decent drinks too, although with the kids, that wasn't our priority. This pub is a gem.
Came after a long rainy dog walk and was the perfect place to warm up and have a pint/food. Will 100% come back! Staff are lovely too!
It's not the most cheapest of pubs, but the food is pretty good. There's a section inside that is partitioned off for darts, which you can hire in advance. There's a nice bear garden at the rear with a table tennis table with a £5 deposit to hire the bats and one ball. We had a really good afternoon, and the staff are very nice. The staff also love dogs, so it is a dog friendly pub.
Absolutely the best thing that’s happened to the locality for ages ! Restoration of a beautiful old pub to a gorgeous light modern comfortable and welcoming pub. Great food, great selection of drinks, really friendly lovely staff, the dog-friendliest place I’ve ever been too - a fantastic garden with heating in winter and shaded sofas for summer, music is good without being silly loud - it’s such a lovely place -

Had our kids 5th birthday party here and everyone had a great time! Staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Food is great, there’s something for everyone on the menu. Lovely atmosphere. We are locals and it’s our favourite pub in the area, we always have a great time here.

I personally love the food I'll give it a 5 stars beautiful BBQ wings in town, I love the chips very tasty and the beautiful beef burger. They also have a kids menu and kid movie days.
I also love the fact that everything in the pub is clean. And have a very fresh smell.
Feedback:
- More team building along staff members.
- add some music during the day time.
- name badges so that customers know who is serving them.
- a better soft drink selection
Other than that everything in the Rookwood village is 5 stars.
This pub has been newly renovated and is superb. Great food menu, outdoor area, darts, space for family - really great pub for a day out and right next to the park.
The place its self was lovely, nice large outside space. The service was ok, I only had chips, for the price, slightly over done, but taste nice. It was my first time since it revamp it self and was at a funeral.
I will try again, see if tge chips get any better. Its a shame I didn't take a picture, nxt time.
Last week had some drinks gathering celebration with friends.
Table services was really fast via the app and our food and drinks arrived within a good timely manner and the staff are lovely.
This is a really nice friendly pub and have great food.
2-4-1 cocktails on friday is a bonus!
Lovely neighbourhood pub, good selection of beer, live music on the night I was there. One star deducted for the smallest portion of hummus I've ever encountered, but otherwise, great.
Great place to eat, lady manager was excellent she was hands on all the time, was shocked how well this place was renovated looks and feels class, will definitely be back 😀 😄
