I visited 042 restaurant in August and had the Garnished Croaker fish with plantain and yam. No exaggeration when I say it might be the best fish that I've ever had! I was pleasantly surprised. If you get the large fish meal I'd suggest splitting it between two people as it's definitely a lot for just one person, although that's exactly what I did (no regrets). Also if you can't handle spice, this is not the meal for you. I would have rated the restaurant 5 stars based on the food alone but the staff need to improve on their customer service as there was so much confusion about what we were ordering and where we were sitting. The restaurant actually made me feel like I was in a local restaurant in Lagos. Will definitely be returning for the fish.

Ordered the Croaker fish and suya to take away with my partner, which we enjoyed. We later returned again for the clubbing it was hot as it was packed but we had a good time.

Lovely family Nigerian restaurant that turns into a nightclub around 10.30pm on a Friday. The food is fabulous, the music is a mix of Afrobeats, old school 70s and 80s music. Simple clean decor, and on a weekday the food arrives promptly. The only downside is that once the clubbing starts the wait for food is way too long - over an hour!! But again I stress the food tastes heavenly!👌🏾

Make sure you order the grilled fish. Could be cleaner esp toilets but the food is amazing and the customer service is A1. I go often to feel like I am back home in Nigeria 🇳🇬

So nice. I've only tried the pounded yam and egusi soup so I cant vouch for the whole menu. I've had it on more than 1 occassion and its always been nice. I probably won't try anything else on the menu cause this is just too much. Reasonable price too. Recommended.

One of the best place to hang out. Food is lovely, great music as well. Parking can be an issue if you arrive anytime after 10pm.. Although there are parking spaces at Tesco nearby.
