Proper old pub. Good service. Heard the food is good but kitchen wasn’t open when I visited. Nice outside area. I was there for an event in the back room. It’s a good size space for a party. There is a toilet in there too. Would be good if there was a mirror in the toilet!

Great for a karaoke night! Nice service. We ordered burgers and wings. It can gets really busy and doesn't matter if you booked, is going to be busy anyway.

I didn't try the food but everything else about the bub was great. Only one beer on the hand pump, but kept really well and served by a young woman who clearly knew what she was doing. Clean toilets, friendly atmosphere. Just what I need in a pub.

Excellent community pub. Recently refurbished but not gentrified - attracting a diverse customer base, helping give it a rare atmosphere that feels welcoming and buzzy. The food you see in the image below was a Sunday roast meat ‘mix’ containing lamb, beef, chicken & sausage and was up there with the best pub roast I’ve had.

A great historical pub in Leyton. Wide ranging drinks options, sport and music to while away the evening and useful event space in the rear for family friendly parties.

Great karaoke nights on Fridays. They have the best organisers and the crowd is joyful and respectful. Food is OK but I’ve seen better in other pubs

Great local pub. Feels like one of the few remaining proper east london pubs. It turns out we were there during karaoke night - fantastic, upbeat vibe. We’ll be returning…and hopefully it will be karaoke night again.

Much improved it seems!!! a chilled, friendly pub, immaculately cIean, welcoming staff and good range of drinks. Popped in for Sunday drinks with friends, all of us impressed! Added bonus,, unlike most local pubs these,, no buggies, babies or small people legging it around!

Brilliant, we had not been in for a while. But had previously watched the football here, (I think last summer) such as it was. Great staff presence and friendly locals to welcome you as you enter the door. They have added a pool or is it a snooker table?...lol The price is what it is for our climate in the UK. Go in and enjoy this beautiful old building but modern too. All government guidelines are still in place and you must remain alert and up with the hygiene requirements every where you or I go to. Large screens around the building open plan and spacious with a small out door Beer Garden and all facilities are clean and up to standard. I love this place as it has been here for years and survived the current season. Grab a friend or two and enjoy a good clean night out. Be safe and be happy...bless
