Always a great place for a takeaway. The chips are amazing and the fish cooked to perfection in a lovely golden batter. Peas are very green and tasty.
One of the few chippies left in the town that doesn't skimp on portion sizes.
Every chippy around here seems to cut down on the size of food these days due to the cost of living, so a 'large' isn't very large at all.
But I'm happy to say that the Happy Frier still serves decent portion sides!
We love having this chippy at the end of the road. We’ve been eating from here for over ten years now. My little boy loves his kids meal with the toy :) Better than a mcds happy meal!
The staff are all very friendly and the food is good.

When visiting previous times we have had food from other establishments but this chippy will be her favourite from now on.

Excellent fish and chips well cooked tasty fish good batter and crisp chips. Excellent meal with no fat left in container only issue asked for salt and vinegar but not put on . Sadly none in the van but will be from now on . Normally park up and eat in lay-by so could not go back . Reviews need to
