Just had chicken tikka and a pint of orange. Food arrived quickly and was a good portion. Staff were helpful as well.

My visit was a positive, all staff were friendly, food was very nice, wait was as informed of 30mins. Good value for money. We will continue to eat here 😊
Spent New Years Eve here, watching my friend DJ! Very good venue (clean and tidy), staff were friendly and approachable, good prices for the beer too, had a really good time here! Also the next day me and said friend (the DJ) went for lunch, say just gone noon and i ordered the Chicken new yorker whilst my friend ordered the steak and ale pie, it was bloody delicious! If I ever pass this way through Leyland again I'll be most definitely coming back!! :)

I'm definitely visiting again also the slug and lettuce have Great drinks and prices with excellent quality of food with a short waiting time and friendly locals with a verity of drinks and meal including their house beers. It's also child friendly also has a good sized beer garden where you can some and/or vape and to drink and eat upside it really is a fantastic place for a night out or just for a quiet drink also the staff are very approachable and patient it's always been clean and tidy and also when you have a meal there is a good verity selection of sauces thehe ale is fantastic in my opinion such a lovely draft also they pervide colouring books and crayons for the children to keep occupied also with a great verity selection of coffees and hot chocolates it's not really a good place for parking as it's in the middle of the town centre but it's close to plenty of takeaways which is always good. I have been going for years now and haven't had any trouble with any locals I really do suggest that you give the a visit also to toilets are always have been clean and tidy and easily to access and the have a down stairs toilet facilities for people when struggle to go upstairs and table services are pervided and great customer service also. Definitely a five star rating

We decided to stop off for some food on a long journey from Bristol, we are so glad we chose this pub. The young ladies working behind the bar and serving food were lovely and polite and always smiling. We went for the sharing platter meals both deciding to have one each. I had the chicken one, there was so much food and it was all cooked really well and tasted great. My husband went for the burger meal, he said that it too was cooked really well as being such a large burger it was not at all dry and very tasty. He tried to finish it all as it was so good he didn't want to stop but the burger beat him. Thanks very much for the great meal, if we are in the area again we would definitely go back.
The recently refurbished pub looks really good, staff is friendly and polite. The food was excellent, arrived relatively quickly. Great value for money and a great addition to the area. We will definitely return to try more of the menu.
Really enjoyed the chicken wings and chips I ordered. My last meal here was really overcooked, so I was apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised this time! All the staff were lovely & helpful.
Great place to watch football. Food is pretty good for price and to much while watching the game. Manager is top, really accommodates the crowds as much as possible for the big matches. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
This place has now got its act together since opening. The service is good the food is excellent and the staff are friendly and attentive and everywhere is clean. With live music and quizzes and live football. The only downside is they let dogs in. Anywhere, in my opinion that serves food dogs should not be allowed or at least keep them in one particular area, dogs when wet smell and I for one don't want to eat next to a wet dog, except assistance dogs.

Even though im from Nelson i manage to get over to Leyland once a week and visit this excellent pub. Management and staff are second to none and always make you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this venue 10/10 👌
