First visit to the new cafe located in the Derby Wing of Worden Hall. After a refit by the local council the building is lovely with an outside court yard. Surrounded by Worden Park it is great location. We ordered our food which was served quickly and was very good. I would recommend. Note parking is on the car park which is 5 minutes away unless you are disabled. There is a disabled car park at Worden Hall. Note there is still some refurb ongoing so there is still work going on around the hall. Would recommend a visit.
Absolutely, this establishment is undeniably a truly wonderful and captivating place to visit. It is genuinely heartwarming to witness its creation, finally filling the long-felt void in the park's offerings and meeting the demands and desires of the visitors for a considerable period of time.
The overall experience here is a delightful amalgamation of delightful cuisine, tantalizing beverages, and impeccable service that consistently leaves patrons thoroughly impressed and satiated. The quality and execution of the food, the variety of drinks on offer, and the attentive service provided all contribute to an exceptionally enjoyable and gratifying dining experience.
However, amidst this overwhelming praise, it is only fair to highlight that the immense popularity and well-deserved positive reception of this establishment inevitably result in its high levels of patronage. While this is undoubtedly a testament to the exceptional job they have done in creating such an inviting and rewarding venue, it does present a noteworthy challenge for some visitors to secure a spot during peak hours. Given the remarkable reputation they have earned, it is no surprise that the place tends to get bustling, making it somewhat arduous to secure a reservation or find an available table promptly.
Nevertheless, this minor inconvenience should not overshadow the fact that this establishment has truly succeeded in meeting the long-awaited expectations of the park's visitors, bringing joy, satisfaction, and a sense of community to all who have the privilege of experiencing it. The remarkable achievements of this venue, both in terms of the delightful offerings and the undeniable popularity, are a testament to the passion and dedication with which it was conceived and brought to life. Undoubtedly, it has become a true gem in the heart of the park, cherished by locals and tourists alike, and leaving a lasting impression on all who come to revel in its delights.
This place is in Worden Park
So nice to go to after a stroll in the park
Keep coming back here whenever we're strolling the park
Food and drinks were good
Having a hot drink after a stroll in the cold was just great
And the best about this place is it is dog friendly, dogs everywhere!
Lovely cafe, lots of space inside and out in a gorgeous setting. Food was served quickly and was really good. Dogs allowed. Good clean toilet facilities including a decent baby changing room with two toilets and plenty of space
Lovely little cafe, vast improvement on the old one. Dog friendly inside, and pleasant seating area outside . Only had toast and coffee, but both were very nice.
Stopped by for a coffee and ice cream for the children on a day trip to the park, absolutely lovely. The staff were polite and attentive, the food and drinks were delicious and the park is beautiful. Even had doggy ice cream for the dog !
Excellent hidden gem of a cafe in the heart of worden park. Breakfast was amazing with great choices too. Gorgeous avocado abd feta on sourdough toast. Dogs welcome too. Delicious!
Brilliant place, lovely setting in Worden Park, cakes are delicious, but the main reason we keep returning is the staff, they are always friendly, make a fuss of the dogs and always welcoming, they can't do more to help you!
First visit to this place, fairly busy but served quickly by the staff, found a table, placed an order, a few minutes later served .
Modern cafe in the property, nice selection of food available and friendly staff
Visited a few weeks ago with my sons for drinks after our day out in the park. I'm disappointed to see no water or rinsing sink beside the coffee machine for the milk jugs after making each coffee and hot drink.
Lovely cafe in a lovely park. Great walks followed by a great brew!
Quiet today - presume because of football but food and service good although somewhat pricey at £5.00 for a bacon barm.
