Loved it. Had afternoon tea, and it was delicious. A choice of sandwiches, savouries and a choice of homemade cake, with tea, coffee or cold drinks. I had carrot and walnut cake and it was moist and exceedingly good. My son had the blueberry and lemon cake, also moist and tasty. Alice in Wonderland themed, heart shaped fairy lights, large playing cards on the ceiling, quirky but cosy. A warm friendly welcome. Wheelchair accessible. We parked where McDonald's, Lidl, B and M bargains are. Free for 2hrs.
Googled cafes in Leyland as we were off to Haydock races and wanted somewhere different what a find lovely place helpful friendly staff great food good quality all round not the cheap sausages that you normally get herbs on the tomatoes and seasoned mushrooms just the little extra that goes a long way wonderful place. highly recommended 5*
My friend and I went to the curious cafe for a booked afternoon tea. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table the lady who was serving us warm and friendly, really down to earth and spent time explaining what was included in the afternoon selection the service was really fast and the good was amazing it was delicious and all home made. It was any Alice in wonderland fans dream it is a lovely cafe and they were so nice they even did us a carry out for a friend who couldn't make it as well as for us to take the cake we couldn't eat home with us. There was so much food it was amazing so glad I didn't eat breakfast. We will definately be going again and will be more than happy to recommend its one of the bear places I've been. Wonderful people, outstanding food. Has it all and is accessible for people with disabilities too.
Absolutely amazing. Food is delicious and staff are lovely. First ever visit today and it definitely won't be my last.
A traditional style British cafe... Except the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. I had a very decent coffee paired up with the nicest Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Perfect poached eggs and a silky hollandaise for less than a fiver. Top marks
Becoming a firm favourite 🌺 afternoon teas are delicious & the varied menu is great value for money 🌼
Fantastic afternoon spent at your Leyland cafe with myself and my mother as a belated birthday treat. We were pleasantly surprised to find upon arrival there were various afternoon tea menus to choose from, allowing you to stand out from your competitors. The food we received was freshly prepared, beautiful flavours and presentation all round. The soup was AMAZING. To quote my mother "the best soup shes ever had" lovely welcoming staff and a cozy atmosphere makes it inviting and I look forward to my next visit.

saw the lovely rating and that it was just two minutes from my location I decided to pop over for a full English. met some wonderful locals headed that way and they asked the hostess to save us a table.
too late for breakfast instead enjoyed a chicken, bacon bagel and melted cheese. it was chewy and tasty and delicious. Americano served nice and hot washed it down nicely.
the cafe is alice and wonderland themed and i recommend a visit. prices were moderate and was well pleased by my decision to stop in for a bite.

An excellent, quirky and friendly establishment. All cakes and soups are home made. The afternoon tea is a must (Some elements can change). I was pleasantly surprised to find one of my high school teachers, Mrs Osborne, was running the place. Will definitely be going back.
Good old home cooked breakfast, excellent coffee. Spent a nice hour news paper, window seat nice chilled vibe. And it's all based on one of my favourite books Alice in wonderland. The table cloth has page from the original book with drawings taken from it. The staff made you at ease polite very friendly
