Great service! The lovely lady was working on her own (may have been somebody in the kitchen) but she was definitely understaffed, and did a wonderful job. Very caring and prompt and looked after us and our dog. Lovely, clean, dog friendly pub with nice food and good relaxing music and a pleasant at
Warm cosy pub. Service slow, waited over 50mins for our meals. Gammon steak for hubby and chicken burger for me. But I have to admit they were worth the wait. Really good, freshly prepared, large portions and piping hot. Recommend if you can be patient.
We stayed here for 2 nights in a double room at the front of the building. The room was nice with a really comfy bed and a good shower. The room was clean and had lovely wooden beams , sash windows , a full-length free standing mirror , tv, and tea and coffee . My only negatives were the lack of any

Special mention must also be made of the young, friendly, and attentive staff. All in all
