We stopped here and had some food. We had the chicken parmo which was absolutely gorgeous! The fish and chips were nice but maybe the batter was a bit thick (also there was loads more chips hiding under the fish - massive portion!). Honestly still really enjoyed it though. I think it's just because
We ended up here after our walking route was flooded... And I'm glad we did! Burgers were amazing and dogs are allowed 😁 We had the chicken parmo + double smash burger.
Thought this was a great pub after a long day of walking. Had worked up a healthy appetite and saw my new favourite meal, a Parmo on the menu which was very tasty. My girlfriend got a pizza and that was also top draw as well as some cheesy chips. Great value for money too so would recommend if yo
Popped in here for foods after passing several times the previous day. We was a little sceptical about the food after seeing some of the reviews but I am pleased to say we had no issues and the food was great. Considering it is in the heart of the village it was surprisingly quiet and not really su
Friendly. Excellent service. Lovely food. Best tuna melt I’ve had in a while. Great for coeliacs and people with food allergies. Thank you

This pub has prime location as it faces the high street and market place, it was the first one we visited on a Friday dinner time and was warmly welcomed and had a good selection of beers and food 🍲 on offer. A very popular local pub a great atmosphere.
We enjoyed a lovely meal here, my granddaughter said that it was the best steak she had eaten in a long time. The food presentation was excellent. The pub and restaurant were very clean and the staff were attentive. Lovely outdoor eating areas.
Really nice pub, good place to eat, prices are very reasonable, they are big portions, it's dog friendly as are many pubs in the area, the atmosphere is ok, they gave TVs, game machines and pool tables, it's quite spacious plenty of seating and also has a nice outdoor garden area with sheltered seat
Lovely food, great service, and value for money. I've not been in for a few years, but we will certainly be calling again. Saturday Lunch after a long walk was perfect. Thank you
Enjoyed our Sunday lunch and went back during the week to meet family members. Very busy place, but nice atmosphere and staff. Didn't have a vegetarian option for Sunday lunch other than a ate of veg, Yorkshire Pud abd Veg gravy. So I ordered the Halloumi as my protein. T'would be nice to have had
Great country pub. Lovely home cooked food. Amazing chips. The steak pie was very filling and the parmo’s were lovely.
