Fork Lewes - Lewes - Photo album

What a lovely meal. All 3 courses were great. Thought the portions were spot on, just the right amount. Great classic flavours with some little twists. The effort put in for gravy, for Sunday's roast is awesome! (Started on a Tuesday) Definitely booking for that in the near future.
Utterly delicious, perfectly cooked meats and brilliant combination of flavours. We had such a great evening, the team was very hospitable and caring. Will come back very soon.
Goodness gracious wow! My advice is challenge your self when eating here. Avoid the familiar and be bold. Genuinely the last time I had food like this was at the Windgrove. However based on the dishes I had, I would rate the Fork's residence chef's imagination as more ambitious even than the windgr
The food was very good. The staff were very attentive. Only negative, was the bright lightening at the counter seats. And the overall price, was the same as our favourite London restaurant, however overall vibe fell a little short in comparison. Would certainly recommend and would visit again.
Went to Lewes for a day while visiting Brighton, and found this hidden gem of a restaurant. For 30£ per person you can't find many three course meals this good in the UK. Cauliflower Veloute was so soothing and great for the cold weather. The Squash Risotto and the Fish were amazing + large which m
I think Fork deserves five stars. Good quality ingredients, carefully prepared and well-seasoned. I find these restaurants sometimes struggle to produce vegetarian food that actually has flavour - no issue with that here. We had a great time.
We had a feeling that we were slightly too late - should have gone a year ago, when it was not so established, or maybe we picked an off-day on a Tuesday evening … Food slightly under seasoned in places, bread starter with whipped butters left an oil-coated palate, service felt to us slightly rushed
Absolutely stunning food and really lovely little restaurant, doing something very special in Lewes. The menu is small, but the chef clearly takes pride in making sure it's executed perfectly, from the taste down to the presentation. My partner and I went for 2 courses, plus a cocktail and some wine
Sitting at the pass is a real pleasure, watching the young and talented team create lovely food. They cook with a smile and obviously enjoy what they are doing which comes across in the dish. This place is well worth a trip to Lewes alone.
The smoked mackerel and sirloin beef were outstanding but the other courses were very good too. The restaurant is small and cozy and attracts a very eclectic crowd. Service was perfect - attentive but not overbearing. It's very conveniently located in the centre of Lewes.
