Went for post cinema meal. We are regular customers who stopped going to Ask as the wait for food was sometimes lengthy. Tonight however was a complete change and service was 100% improved. I left tip which was well deserved. Swift service and delicious fresh food and brilliant staff. We were served by Lucy who was so friendly and did an amazing job. This restaurant is clean and very welcoming. We will resume coming here. Back to being one of the best restaurants in Lewes! Definitely worth 5 stars 🌟
Whenever I am back in Lewes I always visit the Ask Italian restaurant.
I tried to order using the QR code on the menu, but it just wouldn't work.
I always find that the staff are all so friendly and helpful.
When I say that I am of course including all of the boys and girls that are not seen without whom the Restaurant wouldn't run so smoothly.
The food is usually delicious.
When I go into Ask Italian restaurants I don't have their complementary lemonade until after the meal as it clears the palate.
Got brought a voucher for my birthday to come use here.
Was a delightful trip.
Restaurant was well presented and clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Service was very quick and food was nice and hot.
Got the dough balls to start and they were spot on!

Had a lovely Birthday meal here with my Wife and parents.
I hadn't been to an Ask for many years, this was definitely a better experience that what I had remembered.
They had a good selection of beverages to choose from, and a very good selection of food. Good choice of starters and a broad selection of mains.
The service was very good, with various staff being very assertive and quick to clean the table.
I would definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy an Italian experience. 😊
Ordered drink and had to mention it hadn't arrived. Tried to give is food we hadn't ordered but when ours arrived it was fabulous.
We went in on a hot Sunday afternoon, no air conditioning unfortunately but temperatures tolerable at a quiet time and is was close to home after a long hot walk.
I have used Ask over the years and obviously it's a chain and menu selection is relatively limited
My partner had the Crayfish pasta which she said was delicious.
I opted for the Vegan N'Duja pizza which, to be honest, was exceptional.
I am not a vegan, it just sounded nice and exceeded all expectations

Haven’t been here in a while and certainly not since the recent renovations. We were really happy with our meal. The service was very friendly and there were lots of little touches and considerations that you do not normally get at chain restaurants. The menu has some great options and there are extensive drink choices so something for everyone. Best chain restaurant dinner I’ve had in a while. Would happily come again.

Excellent for what it is. There were some obnoxiously loud teenaged girls having a birthday party, but that's the risk you run in relatively cheap restaurants. Staff looked after me well. I was warned honestly that there may be a wait for food, but it came perfectly quickly in the end. Food was tasty, cant fault them.
It's Ask, so the experience is the same as all other Asks around the country. Simple and straightforward. Nice people serving and good food. Thanks!

Thr team here are always really lovely, the food is pretty standard but the kids menu is great. Its easy and straightforward and the kids love it
