The Brewers Arms - Lewes - Photo album

My type of pub. Traditional, friendly watering hole with a good selection of local ales. Central high street location in historic town of Lewes. I had Sussex Best. I didn't eat but the fish and chips on the table next to me looked super.
Good crowd and selection of beers, delicious food (sausages from local butchers), with charming, old school/‘working men’s club’ kind of vibes, I’ve already planned my next visit.
Always a fantastic pint. Always well kept and a very interesting selection. Quite often fill up with a portion of cheesy chips whilst on a drinking session. Proper pub. Love it.
Nice place on the main street. Bit of a climb from the railway station but it's worth it. Only 4 beers available at the time but that was because of a Brewery Tap Takeover the next day so understandable. The selection was still good though.
Nice little pub on the high street that was not crowded for Sunday lunch. Very good gravy, lots of veg but only one Yorkie for the roast beef. Staff are friendly and conscientious about social distancing. The garden is small but lovely with a great selection of summer flowers creating a lovely atmos
It's a really nice place, they have a beer garden in the back which is a nice surprise. Good selection of beers and decent food.
The Sunday roast was one of the best pub roasts I've had. Soft potatoes, lots of veg, big yorkshire. The staff were really polite and friendly which made the experience better.
Pleasant staff, good food and local beers 🍻, decent price
A pleasant and hospitable place. There a sports bar and a more formal bar. Good pub menu with piping hot, well prepared food. Harvey’s Bitter and many other good beers on tap. Recommended!
Proper old school boozer. Great beers on keg and cask. Great food as well and a hidden beer garden out the back. This would be my local if I lived on Lewes.
A lovely little pub. Had a hamburger and was pleasantly surprised. I thought they're onion rings were very good and the cheesy chips too were good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Met two friends for drinks, lunch and a long-awaited catch up. It was quite busy but we had a table booked. Great, friendly service. An extensive menu with loads of choices. My friends had scampi & chips and the chips were delicious!! I could have made a better choice this time. I had the satay chic
Yep, like this pub. Was in here many yrs ago & again today. Good homemade grub & decent beers. On tap IPA 'Arise' was very nice (& cold). Also has a 'proper pub' feel. I've a feeling we will be back!
I've been a regular at The Brewers for many years & highly recommend a visit. Located in Lewes High Street (where the road narrows to 1-way operation controlled by traffic lights) the front bar is a cosy smallish room. Head to the right & through a door to a much larger room at the back. Tends to be
Relaxed atmosphere, TV at back, log fire at front. Good beer. Not keen on the games evening and too many tables are reserved so not always possible to drop in for a quiet pint. Sadly. This trend of "booking" a pub table is silly, in my humble opinion.
Lovely Traditional pub , warm friendly and nice atmosphere , staff chilled and so helpful , the Sunday roast was one of the nicest I’ve had , home cooked for sure ! Amazing value , even chatted with some locals who were just as friendly , will be back , Thankyou 😀
