Great find! Beautiful building and surroundings. We sat upstairs and it was a wee bit chilly but no big deal. Noticed there were rugs if you wanted to cosy up! Chose Quiche with the salad and shot of soup. You must ask if you want the quiche warmed up as it will just come cold, but I like it warm. It was absolutely delicious, every last bit of it! Upstairs could do with some sofas and low tables as it's a bit sparse on tables but I know it's newly opened. Table service might be an option as we did have to queue for a bit but again no biggy. Big plus is you can can take in your dog! We had a sneaky peak into the wedding barn venue and WOW! Simply stunning! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend x

Stumbled upon this gem of a place just outside St Andrews at the weekend. It’s on the road to Tentsmuir beach. Stopped in for a superb lunch. They have Quiche and cakes to die for, a wood burning stove and blankets if your cold. The perfect place after a chilly winters walk and you can take your dog in. I think it’s newly opened but the service was great and quirky atmosphere in a converted old barn. Great find!

Amazing venue for a party and a great cafe for a cosy cuppa and a slice of delicious cake after a breezy walk. Lovely friendly staff and the best food for miles - I would know I've tried EVERYWHERE. Highly recommend!

Found this place by chance and so glad we did. Food is all fresh and have to mention the Victoria sponge is to die for. Young friendly staff were great as well. Will definitely return. It is also dog friendly which was a real plus for us.

Stopped off on our way home from Tentsmuir when we saw the sign as we didn’t realise it was there. I thought it was just a clay pigeon shooting place but once we parked we saw the converted building. We were permitted to take our dog in which was a bonus as I expected to stay outside at a rustic table and chairs. We had coffee, cake and a filled roll and they were all delicious. Friendly staff, plenty tables, good menu choice. We’ll be back.

My family and I visited The Rhynd this morning for breakfast. What a lovely welcoming place! The locally sourced food was well prepared, wonderfully tasty and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be paying another visit soon.

We noticed The Rhynd cafe on our way out for a walk in Tentsmuir , rewarded ourselves on the way back with some amazing salads , so fresh and different , beautifully presented and served by friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble ! Imaginative food created from fresh local produce , we are not vegetarian but would happily live on salads if they were always this appetising ! Finished with a cup of tea and a fantastic Malteser butterfly cake ...we will return !

Been fortunate enough to DJ at Rhynd a few times for weddings. Its has a dedicated evening reception party space which is a great size and close to the bar. Friendly staff even helped taking my gear out to the van. Can't recommend enough.

Lovely place for Sunday brunch. Food good. Very dog friendly ( unfortunately and the reason I've not given 5 stars is no restriction on dog numbers ) on my last visit some of the dogs were very vocal and made conversation difficult. Maybe need a doggy code of conduct.

Lisa and The Rhynd Café & Events team are brilliant. So welcoming, accommodating and help make your event experience as seamless as possible. The space was perfect for our end of December wedding, which we covered in fairie lights & evergreens collected from just down the road at Tentsmuir Forest. Lisa took such good care of David and I throughout a stressful 2 years of pandemic lockdowns, ever changing plans and the fear of the unknown. Her calm, optimistic and resourceful professionalism kept us as ease and made our experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you Rhynd Team for everything!! x

Bacon & Breaks is a great event for Petrol enthusiasts, the first Sunday of every month. The Bacon and Egg Roll was brilliant, clearly using locally sourced fresh produce.

Reviewing as a wedding guest. Beautiful venue. It's got a rustic look which is right up my street. I attended a wedding there on a Saturday and the venue was simply gorgeous; so nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I'd hire this place for a special occasion in no time.

A little off the beaten track, but worth the effort. Independent establishment with good pieces of motoring memorabilia. Great service, coffee & bacon roll. Cakes, scones & other food looks good. I'll be sure to try the soup & burger on my next visit. All reasonably priced & card machine available. 1st Sun for classic cars & motorbikes. Unfortunately weather was terrible, so no great surprise that not many classics on show this time. Hopefully will be next time.

What a wee gem we found on our outing from Edinburgh by pure chance! Loved the space and decor, the staff was smiley and welcoming, and the coffee and food delicious. I have saved it as a location to visit next time we are in the area or even make it a destination!

Food was fine, quite basic but tasty & well presented but place very cold, I know it's outside but they should get some form of heating if they're staying open during winter

If you want to avoid the queues at the food van at Tentsmuir, give this place a try. Loved the auto/bike sport memorabilia. Good food selection, with sandwiches that were packed with filling and the chilli I had was delicious served with hunks of lovely brown bread. Good friendly service, definitely worth a visit.

Came to the cafe for some food after going to the nearby shooting range. All of the staff are as friendly as can be and the burgers were absolutely amazing. Couldn't believe the value for money on the food. Great day out, thoroughly impressed.
