Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but if it's anything like the beer/stout that they serve, the barmaid who served us and the general feel of the place you should get an excellent meal.
Been going here ever since I was a teenager. Great pub with loads of character. Nice outside area too. 👌

Old fashioned proper pub with good reasonably priced ales.
Only happen to find this pub and been honest Only used it from 12pm to about 2.30. But walked in to a roasting fire old fashioned way. Ahh to see that it's gorgeous Only us mature people know that. Right staff are so friendly and warm (just like the fire) .very cosy. Good selection of drinks and sna
