Ordered a mocha however it was so sweet I was only able to have a few sips. The bagel however was soft and lots of creamy cheese which is really nice. I had the salmon bagel and it was nice.
Edit review : went back for brunch had the mocha again but this time asked for half sugar and it was perfect
Quaint cafe in the heart of Lenham village. This cafe is built in a 14th century listed building and as a result adds some real character to the café. Serves a range of food from bacon baps to cream teas. The cake in the picture was a devilish salted caramel sponge cake washed down with a coffee V
A great spot for cyclists. Plenty of outdoor seating, and a wide selection of coffee and cake. What more does a cyclist need?
A lovely place in the medieval village of Lenham hosted by a lovely couple. We only had tea scones and cake but were also rewarded by conversation about the village and lent a book to leaf through about the history. I would definitely go here again when on the road through Kent.
Toasted sandwiches like doorsteps. 👍👍👍👍Brilliant.
12.11.22. Once again, sandwiches that fill you up. Photos say it all, even the empty ones.
Good food and lovely village cafe atmosphere. Would recommend but you may struggle to find a table as it’s a fairly small cafe, most likely for to the old building it is in.
Popped in for breakfast and coffee which was well worth the £9 each we paid. We opted for the full English and was offered back or crispy bacon, very tasty sausage, choice of eggs, mushrooms, tomato and lots of either brown or white toast. The coffee was thick and very nutty, in fact I had two cups
Lovely small independent cafe. This cafe offers a range of traditional meals and fresh coffee. We visited with our children and they enjoyed the hot chocolate.
Reasonably priced and freshly made this cafe offers good value for money. Not too busy just before lunch but can get busy at peak times whi
Husband had a cheese toasty. We've never seen one like it. Shall I just say he stopped talking while he ate. It looked good too. I had the cream tea. Only one scone, but certainly 1 was enough, and lovely texture. We'll worth a visit.
If it’s busy prepare for a wait, but if you’re outside the square is great for people watching and chilling. The bacon baguette was rammed full of rashers and absolutely perfect. Worth a visit, reserve a table at busy times.
We had toasted sandwiches which were lovely & really filling. Sadly no room for any cake afterwards! A great place to have lunch in Lenham Square, friendly and good choice of food.
Lovely surroundings in a quant village. Parking small and can be problematic . Cafe very busy. No seats when we first arrived. It is popular so don't count on a table being available. We arrived there at 1045 a.m . Choc-a-bloc.
Really is a lovely place with great friendly staff. As well as the main menu there are always "specials" on the board inside. Sausage baguette comes highly recommended!
It's not a playground for boisterous children (plenty of play parks for that) however they do make well behaved kids (of all ages)
Lovely people, food presented nicely. Only downside is they are very slow, apart from that it's a lovely little cafe.
Visited here before a trip to Tudor Park Marriott Hotel for a spa day. We had the cream tea for two which was very nice & came with a large pot of tea. It was just the place we were looking for, relaxed and with character. Plus afterwards you can browse the charming antique shop which is part of the
