I was really impressed with our visit to the The Bow Window Cafe in Lenham. We popped in on a midweek lunch time, it was really busy and deservedly so. All the staff are really helpful and friendly, they try hard to accommodate everyone and their individual needs. The website says they are dog friendly and it's true, my dog even got a little treat. I thought the price was good value for the quantity of food that you got. The hot chocolate tasted really nice and chocolatey, they also made it with an alternative milk for me. My toasted sandwich was so delicious and filling, the brie was nice and gooey. I have to mention the toilets which were super clean despite the amount of people using them. I think I'd try and book when I go again, just to guarantee that I can eat there. It's situated right near Lenham Square car park but watch the 2 hour limit for parking.

Friendly service, lovely venue, food was nice, definitely more breakfast restaurant than greasy spoon, with food baked and not fried. Plenty of seating, including a garden area. There are afternoon teas on offer, and local takes on classic dishes. The decor is lovely, there are a few sections but we sat to the back right as you enter and the room was bright and airy with large windows. It didn't feel cluttered or overcrowded at all. There is parking opposite in the square in the middle of Lenham, you get two hours free so should be plenty of time. The Bow Window Cafe is definitely worthy of your custom if you're in the area or passing through.

Excellent food supported by attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere. I had Chicken Caesar Salad and my wife had homemade Quiche - both were excellent and clearly made with care. Well with a trip to visit The Bow Window Cafe - you won't regret it.

Popped in for lunch with my wife and mother in law. Great little tea room cafe. I had the tuna sandwich and they both had the blt sandwich. Lovely and fresh bloomer type bread, which was cut into 4 massive door steps. The fresh cakes looked really nice, but i couldn't make room after the massive sandwiches. Well worth the visit and I would definitely recommend people to try it.

My friends and I went to the bow window cafe today. We all had milk hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows. Sandwiches, jacket potatoe and ham and cheese panini . Excellent quality food, very well presented. The desserts were really delicious. Chocolate brownies and Victoria sponge. Really friendly staff, covid safe and clean cafe.

We had an early lunch to celebrate Mother's Day as a family. It's a small, quaint place where everything is home made. The service is good and attentive, and everyone had a smile. They were very accommodating of dietary requirements and very good with our two boys. The food was lovely. I had the soup, my husband had the breakfast which was adapted to make it suitable for a vegan (the non meat sausages are really tasty), my boys had a sausage sandwich and a cheese toastie and they were both full and happy. The village is so pretty, so it would be nice to be back in the future for another treat, maybe sampling the cakes this time. Thank you for looking after us :)

Top notch, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The food was equally excellent - I had the Mac and cheese, followed by the apple cinnamon pudding (both on the specials board). Super quick diversion from the North Downs Way - just follow the sign for Lenham and you walk down through a field, approx 800m from the NDW to the front door of the cafe. Well worth it for such a good feed. Thanks guys πŸ‘

A lovely little cafe. Very homely and bright. The staff were exceptional. Food was good. Not a huge variety but for a small cafe it was certainly adequate. Definitely recommend.

Picked up an afternoon tea for 2 to celebrate my wedding anniversary in lockdown. It was absolutely scrumptious πŸ˜‹ and beautifully presented in a box. The weather was fantastic so we took it to Wye Downs to enjoy πŸ‘πŸ»
