Visited for a birthday meal in a group of 8. Food was excellent. Nicely cooked, beautiful presentation. Not the cheapest but ok for good food and a special occasion.
Service attentive and knowledgeable. It would be good to have an idea who ordered what when serving as I felt we were being asked every few minutes who had ordered which drinks / dishes disrupting the atmosphere. However the main waitress had really good knowledge and answered everything well and with a good sense of humour.
Overall a nice experience - thank you! Would return.
What a brilliant restaurant this is.
We arrived early on one of those warm nights and had time to sit outside ordering drinks within a wonderfully decked out patio.
We found all of the staff here were so friendly and welcoming and we were looked after by Rosie who was wonderful, bringing out our drinks and the menu allowing us to relax and check out the great selection of food on offer.
We totally enjoyed our meal set inside the restaurant within a cosy atmosphere.
At the end of the night we passed on our compliments to the chef, who clearly has pride in their work and full credit to Rosie for looking after us so well.
We agreed that we just had to make sure that we gave the Crab and Cow and their team a review that was so rightly deserved.
Rest assured we will be back, very soon.

Extremely good food and friendly staff. We have visited several times with family and we love their steak night on Wednesdays and Thursdays (excellent chateaubriand and a free beer/house wine each).
Our most recent visit was the two of us, and we enjoyed starters and mains. The crab crumpet is a main fixture on the menu, though is regularly updated to reflect seasonality, and this time was served with crispy leeks. My partner enjoyed the burrata which was well hidden under a pile of Serrano ham, rocket and pesto.
For mains I had a fillet of fish in a broth with hassleback potatoes, and my partner enjoyed the fillet steak served with a mix of delicious mushrooms, and chips.
I also enjoyed an excellent Spanish Albariño white wine which paired very well with the fish.
I went for lunch here today with my son. It was a warm afternoon so sat in the lovely terrace area which is seriously stylish and beautifully planted out. The food was superb, the staff friendly and attentive and was extremely good value also. They were playing some nice background music which just added to the ambience. First class all round.
Place was really cosy and we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It was delicious. Good service and wine menu too. Will be back to try the Sunday roast.

I ate here with a group of friends on a Saturday night. There were so many good options in the menu it was hard to choose. Everything on my plate was absolutely delicious. I'd highly recommend this for the food and we also found the staff really helpful even making us custom Irish coffees to finish. Thanks for a lovely evening.
