Wow!!! What a gorgeous place! The room was just adorable, location was beautiful, the food was amazing and the service was excellent! What a find - highly recommended for anyone looking for a local pub oozing with charm and great value for money!
Booked three rooms for us and family members, they were well all appointed and clean. The evening meal was very good and breakfast was a highlight. I would certainly recommend the Lion

Went for a midday meal in the restaurant.
The food was excellent and the service from both the bar and restaurant staff was also excellent.
Next time I really must try the outside bbq that look really good, set next to the river.

Stopped here for a quick drink so can't comment on food etc. It seemed a lovely spot for a sunny spring afternoon. The garden is right by the river and overlooks a lovely stone bridge. There seemed to be an outdoor pizza oven so assume this is a nice feature. Indoors was nicely furnished, wooden
