The Grove Lock, Leighton Buzzard - Leighton Buzzard - Photo album

What a glorious upmarket pub located on a lock on the Grand Union hotel near Leighton Buzzard. The food and beer selection is comprehensive and there are several places to eat, a lovely terraced wooden barn structure as well as tasteful interior dining and al fresco as well. There is a cozy gas log
Marvellous! Popular pub next to Grove Lock. Good selection of real ales and wines. Easy comfortable atmosphere in the pub. Only thing I found was that over three visits, the staff were a bit too intense. But well worth a visit!
Lovely pub with very friendly and helpful staff. Food is basic and a little pricey, but the atmosphere is great with open fire and dog friendly too. Situated on the side of the canal and plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is good.
Beautiful building. Amazing friendly staff and the food was perfect. No issues at all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely afternoon, delicious Scampi and chips, a view of the canal and great service from Chelsea. Perfect Sunday afternoon
Lovely canal pub. Very busy ( Friday evening), but still managed a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive without being pushy. The food was very good for above average pub fayre and well presented without being pretentious. Fair selection on the menu and reasonably pri
Very nice pub with a chilled vibe. Just went for drinks but keen to try their Sunday roast as the plates passing us looked good. Definitely book in advance if you want a table on the weekend.
First ever time having visited this pub was a brilliant choice for what its worth I would say yes food quality was absolutely unreal like I had ordered a starter Crispy squid was absolutely unreal and Hummus to share which was a great start and then for mains I ordered Fullers Battered fish and chip
Only stopped for wine & a couple of beers. wine was fine… actually…. This pub has a lovely pinot wine. Sat by the canal on their benches. Staff friendly. Would love to visit for food. Only down side (which was not the pubs fault) was some customers had left their old rubbish like fag ends & cigaret
Great selection of drinks here and a beautiful outside area and garden seating along the canal! They served Tarquins Cornish Gin which I absolutely love but you don't see in this area very much so that was a lovely surprise!
Just a wonderful fab place with brilliant staff... Another visit, today, meal for seven.. and fantastic again.. So, back today Aug 24, and a lovely Monday afternoon meal with friends... 👍
Loved it. Not been here for a few years. Outdoor eating area has been improved and because of the good old English weather plenty of under cover seating
Amazing location. Very idyllic. I only give 3 stars for the food because I always find the menu very lacking and untempting. However, what we did have was actually cooked well. But then again, that should be the case for anywhere selling food ! Staff are all friendly and attentive. Lots of smiles.
Nice pub beside the canal with plenty of parking space, outdoor seating, and a good choice of beers. Food is typical pub fare but quite well done. Feels like you're in the country when just outside town.
Don't normally leave reviews, however after a visit today with my mam. I honestly have to say what a fantastic environment and amazing food. I spoke to the gentleman, I assume one of the owners. But so kind and caring to his customers, and hearing him talk to other customers around me. If I'm ever b
Great pub with awesome staff. Recommend getting a table on the upper mezzanine to get a view over the canal. Easy parking outside and usually busy at the weekends so would recommend booking a table if you’re in a larger group.
