Our first time at The Star today for 7 of us for Sunday lunch. We had to wait quite a while for our food but it was so amazing, well presented and very, very tasty!
The staff deserve a mention too as they were brilliant and so nice and I can see why this place is so busy!

Visited on 01/10/23. Nice pub with great atmosphere. Food was amazing and huge portions! Would highly recommend but book early to avoid disappointment as it was busy!

Service was a little hap hazard, but very nice staff that wanted you to enjoy your visit. Just needs a little reorganisation and refinement.

Visited on Sat 18th Feb with my MiL to be. Came for dinner and to see the lovely Claire sing. We had such a greay time, and it was only my second time there. The ladies behind the bar couldn't do enough for us, and we felt really welcomed. Food was really delicious and fresh, it was the street food

We visited the Star for a family roast dinner a couple of weeks ago, the quality of the food was excellent, good service and lovely clean decor. We will be back!
Loved it. Went for a late Sunday lunch. Had a great table facing a big screen as we wanted to watch football. My wife and I had a roast platter to share which was divine and a very generous helping of tasty vegetables. Also very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
