Great afternoon tea - plenty of sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea. All food was delicious and very well presented. Service was fantastic. Would highly recommend the cafe. Lovely gifts and craft items in the shop downstairs.

Really good food in the tea room, and all home made. Nice staff too, it's a place to go back to. I liked the shop as well, I wish we'd had more time to look around. Definitely somewhere I would go to regularly if we lived locally.

Fabulous Afternoon Tea last week very good attentive service, plenty of choice of sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and cakes, and top up of tea. We'll worth the money, without having to travel out of town

A great place to find unique and special gifts, whether it’s jewelry, clothes, candles or gifts for the home (and so much more). It’s always my go-to place for cards too - I can always find just the right card for every occasion and every person. Oh - the cakes and bacon rolls are pretty fabulous too if you need a little break from all the shopping! 🙂

Number 9 is a lovely mix of stationery, gifts and coffee shop. We've been popping in for years and it's always pleasant, friendly and interesting. Lunchtime can get a bit hectic - many people book and reserve tables for lunch but they will usually manage to fit you in somewhere and you can always browse the gifts and homewares for a few mins first.
