Munch is a Mehico-themed restaurant (now located in Leigh) which dabbles with a lot of East Asian and North American-including maple land-influences. It is a place of gastronomical parkour, in a good way. A diverse menu with regular-enough additions and specials makes it so that it’s probably worth frequenting every now and again, desert options are good but some might find this to be a limited selection. The food will do more to raise your serotonin levels than getting the front seat on top of a double decker bus! Respectable portion sizes, proper ingredients, fair pricing, good liquor choice, milkshakes that'll bring the boys and vegan options makes this a solid choice. However, On the odd occasion when the presumed barrels of vegan MSG are being rolled about or something's going on that otherwise hampers the rolling of burretos- -This may not then be immediately reflected in the app or opening times which is somewhat problematic for happy neurotransmitters. So to recap: + has to be some of the best gourmet food around 'tan + the menu isn't monolithic + good exchange rate between portion sizes and ingredient usage to £ spent + friendly staff + customisable options + the /spicy-spicy/ sauce is a biological weapon - sometimes there's "No soup for you!" Actual rating: 4.7

We drove past to grab a McDonald’s and noticed there was a table free so rang up & grabbed it for ourselves. From the moment we walked in we couldn’t of had a better experience. Amazing service, amazing food & amazing atmosphere. We shared steak nachos and mac&cheese bites to start- steak nachos were absolutely delicious. Both went for burgers for our mains which also didn’t disappoint at all. We have ordered quite a few takeaways from here over the years , but this was our first time eating in & can confirm we will be doing this a lot more. The staff couldn’t of been nicer & I wish I grabbed the name of those who served us. We could not fault a single thing. 10/10 amazing!!

Interesting to read some of the negative reviews on here, I guess you can't please everyone. We saw this place as driving passed and thought to give it a go. Me, my friend and my 8 tear old son. The decor, theme and style of this place is something you would expect to see in a swanky part of Shoreditch. Initial service was a bit slow, but the server apologised as about 2-3 tables all wanted to pay at once! But credit for identifying and apologising. From time if order to delivery was very quick and the food tasted great. They have a very good Vegan selection which is rare but that also follows through into their milkshakes and desserts too. All three of us enjoyed our food and thought the price was reasonable too. Will return soon!

5*s and 10/10 service from both the waiter and waitress serving. Booked a table at 8:30 and sat at the back of the restaurant - really cosy feel especially with the fairy lights and candles. I built my own chicken burger and my boyfriend had the chicken burrito. Both were absolutely delicious, we also had halloumi fries, chicken strips and normal fries. All served hot and promptly after ordering. Nice big portions which we couldn’t finish so took home for later! Would definitely recommend and will be coming again, but would advise you book a table before hand as the restaurant was almost full :)

My wife, son and I went for Mother's Day lunch at Munch yesterday. It was fantastic! We haven't eaten such good Mexican food since were were in Mexico. Real care has gone into the entire menu (including the drinks) and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I can't recommend it enough. (For parents of young children:) The restaurant has baby changing. That's a big deal for us!

Been there for dinner a few times now and the the staff have always been very friendly. The menu has a great mixer of food for vegan, vegetarian and meat eater. My favourite meal is the pulled mushroom burrito it’s very good. They also have a good drinks menu. I definitely recommend it for family. It’s also good for take away.

Absolutely delicious food with both quality and quantity. Impressive options for customisation, especially the 'build a burger', with lots of veggie and vegan friendly choices. Having visited the restaurant and had takeaway, it is clear that the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, with our large order arriving on time with no faults. Something amazing for everyone to enjoy, so perfect for families. Highly recommend the banana milkshake!

Order food the other day and it arrived quick, hot, and tasted amazing. Friendly, polite service on the phone when I ordered. Seems the new owners have made some great changes with the recipes as much improved from last time. Looking forward to trying some more of their dishes

I think consistency is the most important trait of a restaurant or service and this place absolutely nails it. We've had four (lockdown) takeaways from here now and to say it's been great is an understatement. The menu is fantastic, the options are fantastic and every single thing we've ordered so far has been above expectations! I think in this day and age you kind of expect inconsistency from places, one meal is amazing, then the next is ok, the next is good, the next is bad etc. Munch however has it dialed in, four in a row absolutely 10/10. Thanks Munch! Will be ordering again soon.

Had our 2nd take away today, great Burrito and salad. Tortilla chips are very authentic (we lived in Mexico for 2 years). Lovely surprise of an individual bottle of pink prosecco as it was Mother's Day. My only criticism is the cost of the side orders. £3.50 for a tiny Coleslaw wasn't good value for money, shame because the rest is. I will definitely buy again, minus the sides......

Wonderful restaurant, hugely improved on previous owner. Mainly known for takeaway so it’s a hidden gem. Staff are really friendly and attentive and the food is the best in the area.

Amazing food, especially if you're vegan. Really wide selection of vegan and veggie options on the menu. Perfect for a casual lunch or a celebration dinner. Love the interior, and incredible quality of food and drink. The bonus was metal straws instead of plastic - definitely a place to visit for the eco-conscious!

Came here for Valentine’s Day. Really friendly serving staff, service a little slow but we had plenty of delicious cocktails to keep us occupied. Good prices and tasty food, and really decent portion sizes. Highlight: the S’mores Cake. One of the best desserts we’ve ever had 🤤 Oh and the deep fried Oreos were pretty awesome too!
