This is the best coffee house and patisserie in Leigh-On-Sea. I frequented this place since it opened and have never had a bad experience, I can especially recommend the Wine & Cheese evenings.
All the employees are so good with customers and service and love to have a chat too, it is that personal touch that makes this my favourite place to retreat to after a day out or just for a meet with friends. There is never a rush for you to move on.
I have tried everything vegetarian on the menu and some things that they have put together just for me too, the cakes, brownies, blondies, cookies, flapjacks of which I have tried have been beautifully made and have that homemade taste. The food is great, my favourites are the beigels with halloumi, avocado, eggs and chilli flakes or the red pesto, mozzarella and tomato paninis.
I also had my leaving (immigrating) party here and had a surprise afternoon tea which was delightful, delicious fresh brew tea and generous amounts of cake and sandwiches.
This place is a true original and offers great value for money, it has the true Leigh-On-Sea vibe which a lot of its competitors has lost. Truly miss this little place and wish I could have a delivery but think Canada is a bit far.

Had a great coffee and brunch here today. The outdoor garden is lovely, sheltered and heated and fully meets covid restrictions. There is gluten free bread on offer that also tastes really nice and didn't just crumble away! A good range of alternative milks. The owner was lovely and accommodating. Great service, highly recommend to anyone! Thanks for a nice morning :)
My first visit…. A warm welcome, most delicious avocado, chilli & egg toasted bagel and really great coffee. I will be back to try the huge choice of cakes! A really great place with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Oh and they have a garden seating area so I’m looking forward to enjoying that later in the year.
Absolutely ‘loved’ this coffee shop. I don’t know how they’ve managed to make this so different from all the other lovely coffee & tea shops in Leigh. From walking in, it’s beautifully decorated with a cosy lovely atmosphere. Catherine the young girl running it, by herself was amazing. I ordered an extra hot latte, I have to say it was better than any of the high street coffee shops. Definitely a hidden diamond 💎
Love this place! Always a friendly welcome and a great range of cakes, drinks, sandwiches and treats on offer. The orange hot chocolate is a definite favourite and I am gradually working my way through the different brownies :) - had some delicious soups from here too!
Wonderfully comfy, cozy and welcoming coffee house with wonderous treats and tasty food on offering, especially for someone as fussy as me ;). Anyone seeking a taste of proper coffee you will not be disappointed. Sandwich and crisps was what I had and it was delicious, something so simple others get wrong so thank you. We shall be back to indulge in the remainder of the menu. Thanks to all staff who were wonderful in accommodating my bespoke request and creating a personal experience!
Despite the restrictions and while waiting for order ...the team in the shop were amazingly resilient and optimistic about recovery and treated me as a customer with total respect.
Well done to them and I'm personally sorry for their lost trade.

Brilliant place for coffee and for food! The cakes are spectacular. Recently ordered the afternoon tea (as a takeaway) which made for a perfect treat. Would highly recommend
I think the best coffee shop in Leigh and there's enough of them. They are so friendly and the food is lovely. Plus they never rush you out the door. Would definitely recommend you visit
Great coffee, hot chocolates and selection of delicious cakes as well as other food for takeaway.
