Quick service and a good menu. There is plenty of choice for food and drink. There is lots of seating available inside and outside. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is lovely.

It was a fantastic summer evening when we arrived. For a Wednesday at 5pm it was absolutely having with customers. Staff were running around clearly struggling to cope and the inside of the pub looked like a bomb had gone off, BUT, staff made us feel very welcome and was brilliant attention to detail. Obviously a victim of their own success.

The elm has very quick service and friendly staff. Very good atmosphere when u went around lunch time. The menu was extensive and substitution could be made very easily (not in the app however). Food was decent quality obviously for the price you pay, which is very affordable, matched completely. Would definitely go again for a nice brunch.

Came for lunch with my Friend, her treat bless her. Any way we both had American burgers with cheese, and drinks .. didn't wait long for the food . Chips were actually good, not under cooked like can be... the burgers where really good . Hopefully that chef stays πŸ™„πŸ™‚πŸ€£

First time here great Wetherspoons clean friendly and huge! Was disappointed in my food it was so dry and chewy (Katsu grilled chicken curry) I did tell the staff they just apologised. Not the response I wanted I hate wasting money on food I don’t eat.

With the price of a few pints down the road in Leigh Broadway we managed to get many drinks, many snacks and had a great time. Can't beat a Wetherspoons when finds are tight ... Which is all the time these days!

Food was great, didn't have to wait long, however everyone ignored me at the bar apart from Adam who was very kind and professional

Staff seemed very stressed and not really in the mood to be helpful and food wasn't great but l wasn't keen to complain because the staff were so miserable. Don't know what has happened to the staff! Used to be really helpful and efficient but not now. Poor standard of food and cooking.

We did not eat but by the volume of customers eating it said volumes. We will go back and try, drinks were very reasonable compared to other establishments.

Hi. I'm very pleased to say that I have had a great experience at the elms pub today as I went there with my friend to have a cold drink & a catch up. & I'm very pleased to say that it's a very good place to go as I have been looking for a place where you can sit down & have a bit of your own privacy because be & my partner are disabled & Find it difficult to get out & about due to covid me & my partner where being shielded & haven't been out together for a couple of years now only to get our vacation & then back home. Well when I went there today its very disabled friendly whitch is always a plus & I asked the bar man if I could take a menu home with me so I could show my partner the food because his in a wheelchair the barman when out the back of the bar & gave me a menu 😊 The food is great as they have an array of different dishes & they are all good value for money 😊 I have been to this pub before but it was a good 20 year ago now & I had a nice time out the & then about 5 years ago I when there for my partner birthday & the food was delicious πŸ˜‹. I would recommend this pub to all my friend's as its wheelchair accessible it's child friendly it's got lots of room inside to move around & has free parking and WiFi & Outdoor seating 😎 they also do different nights like curry nights etc & Tea coffee softdrink's & lots of different alcohols & beers 😊 the staff are amazing they are very welcome & Always very polite. & That's why I have given them a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review. Enjoy everyone because I had a wonderful afternoon there 😎

We go past the elms a few times but never went in. Our daughter has recently had a very beautiful baby girl. And she wanted to come with us for the walk. But we had already decided to go to the elms for lunch. As we ocatinaly go to there othere pub, the last post. In Southend. I must admit that the elms isn't as big as last post. It's more cousey. But there were empty tables. So we sat down. And me and my misses went to the bar for food and brink. I had a all day brunch. And the mum and daughter had a 3 items for Β£14.00. I had a pint of larger n lime yum. And two ladys had Pepsi max. One thing you get locals trying to push in front. But my misses don't stand for that. One guy payed his bill. And walked out,but it didn't go through. I bet he will get it in the ear next tie he goes in. But food was hot and very tasty so that was good. Will definitely have to go back in the future. Its a mix of older clients and some younger.21+ up to 80. So a good mix
