What a great place, if you just want a coffee, or you want to eat, this is the place togo. The full English breakfast is the best around. Great location on Leigh Road, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, and always have smiles on their faces, definitely worth a visit...
Nice decor and plenty of up and downstairs seating. My order was incorrect, and when trying to correct this they apparently didn't have what I wanted so the cook changed the order. Average service. The floor staff were 2 young ladies who didn't smile much, but at least were kind enough to discount the bill. No-one came to check if our food was OK. Could possibly do with a more senior member of staff overseeing but otherwise, good prices, nice food and lovely location.

Plenty of vegan options; a good amount of seats inside and out, fast service.
Food was great and very well priced.

Hosted an event here in October. Jay, the owner, was nothing but brilliant in helping me organise and the staff were fab on the day. All of our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the tapas, with some commenting on it when I’ve seen them way after, it was very very tasty. Overall, 10/0. Couldn’t recommend more!
I go into Birdwood regularly and just love it. Sure, it's a touch pricey - but most places are in Leigh, and the quality of food/drinks is outstanding. I especially love the Coco Loco smoothie. It's an ideal spot to have a snack and get some work done (free WiFi), or to meet with friends. The service is great, too, and I like that I can sit there for hours without feeling hurried out. Would definitely recommend.
Get multipul coffees here a day, very good coffee. Staff are friendly and the venue is well and tastefully decorated. I am a meat eater but I would recommend the vegan sausage roles.
I've been in here many times and I'm never completely satisfied with it. The food is good but not great. Likewise with the service. The staff took ages to locate toilet paper for my wheelchair bound mother.
We were all happy with our cakes. I like the recycling ethos and if you have small children the upstairs play area will be a bonus
Interesting menu with good combinations of both popular and tasty ingredients. Nice range of drinks. Seating inside and out but located on a street corner off the Broadway so can suffer from a chill wind.
I hadn’t been here for a while before last week and now I have been 3 times since. Food is great -particularly the breakfast and the coffee is the best I’ve tasted in Leigh. (And it’s doggy friendly…🐶)
Friday night was my 1st time here and hopefully won't be my last once free from COVID lockdown. I had a chicken burger which was delicious and the lemon drizzle cake was sooo good just like what Costa coffees lemon muffins but better. The staff worked really had and were friendly and attentive, there was a lovely friendly vibe about the place.
Really cracking bakery, been a committed customer for a number of years now. Their sausage rolls are amazing and so are their spicy chicken pasties which are incredible. The coffee is usually good and the staff are quire friendly. They even have free wifi.
It's a great place to have a full English breakfast. Clean,yummy,good service and cosy. Stop for a coffee stay for a breakfast! I'm lovin' it;)
Just had lunch there. Absolutely superb. For the location it's so reasonably priced. Two friendly guys, really speedy service and just deliciousssss.
And the coffee, I'm not sure which beans they use but it's real special. I stopped buying coffee out a while back as it wasn't worth the money when I could make it just as good at home for about 4% of the price. BUT this coffee is well worth the dollar and again - sooo reasonably priced for the location.
