Used to be the best, now they get orders/prices wrong. Fried chicken cooked and recooked so many times it is brittle.

Classic counter-style frying with restaurant at the side. - Fresh fish freshly fried - Quality chips tasting of actual potatoes - Excellent graphic design and branding (if that is important in a fish bar...) - Bring your own wine to the restaurant (time limitations may apply) - Broad and modern menu intended to appeal to the 'choosy' sort of chippy visitor - Small chips starts at £1 - £10 minimum card payment

Absolutely lovely Fish and Chips as always, but so disappointed that Ribs I had ordered had been forgotten. Not properly checking the order before issuing it is unacceptable, particularly when some customers travel a significant distance to use this shop. To drive back from Rayleigh to Leigh on Sea is not going to happen. 4 stars for quality 1 star only for packaging.

I wish Fish to Go was closer to home.! We had a takeaway that we ate out of the box in a local park. The lightly battered fish was perfect and the portions were decent. What really impressed me is that they were attentive enough to supply extra cutlery- so when my fork broke there was no hassle.

My 1st time here today for large + medium cod with chips, curry sauce & mushy peas. For over 30yrs I've been going to Oldhams on West Rd. Never thought I'd say it but these guys have knocked Oldhams out of sight. Everything was absolutely delicious. Will make an effort to come here again. Great service also. Well done guys, top marks and keep it up 👍

Excellent fish n chips, some of the best I've had in years. Light batter on the fish, not greasy & superb chips. Only scored the 4 stars instead of 5 because their in price is so much more expensive then the takeaway. Will definitely be back.

I was actually recommended this place by family and I can safely say it was a superb recommendation.

The "restaurant" part behind the takeaway is good value. As the food is freshly cooked, it's always going to beat takeaway. Hard to beat the chef's special (especially with the skinny batter). So, it's tasty, filling, affordable and the service is good. Posh it is not.

We love the haddock and chips from Fish 2 Go - best around !! You always have to wait while I cook it, but it’s worth every minute because it’s cooked fresh from scratch and you never get the feeling that it was cooked before and waited four hours. It’s always completely fresh and amazing

The fish was lovely, perfectly battered and cooked. Chips were also great. One of the advantages of a well visited chip shop is that nothing sits around for very long. We took it away and found a park bench. Obviously popular with the locals.
