It was our first time visiting this evening. We travelled from Chelmsford for one of our monthly work do’s. The Micheal Jackson Tribute Act was incredible, the food was beautiful and our waitress Zara was amazing! The whole service was just perfect and we will certainly be coming to visit again. A special mention to our waitress Zara who was very attentive, bubbly and friendly. Thanks again for a great night.

Decided to go hear as a last minute spot of lunch. Was greeted by friendly staff who seated us at our table with no reservation. We had an amazing meal, the steak was cooked perfectly and the desert was spot on! Highly recommend and hope to visit again!

This is a nice restaurant. The food is very tasty. However, they forgot to bring out two of our orders on two separate occasions and then forgot to remove this from the bill when they agreed to do so. Despite this, I would come here again. It’s got a nice vibe and is decorated nicely. The Sunday dinner is particularly delicious.

The food was absolutely outstanding! I had the Skate and it was the best Skate I'd ever had and the rack of lamb that my girlfriend had was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and for what we had the price was oh so fair! We will be coming back, 100%!!!

Now I love my food, and my partner booked here for dinner. On arrival, we were greeted by 2 lovely members of staff, who took our coats and were seated quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed n very pleasant For starters, we ordered chicken liver pate with cranberry onion relish and chilli Prawns Mains, we ordered 3 dishes one each one to share The king prawns in garlic butter, Leg lamb mash veg, The sirloin steak, chips n salad OMG!!! The food was out of this world full of flavour, the steak which is my favourite melted in the mouth. Drinks wise bottle of water is 4.50 to clean pallet rather refreshing and we had few cocktails 10.00 each. I have told my other half we are not eating anywhere else, but here The food was outstanding. I would highly recommend And on certain nights, they have singers and tribute bands. I will definitely be coming back.

The place is simply amazing! Gorgeous weather so was out on the decking. Could've been abroad it was that pretty! Food was delicious, portion sizes are great. And they even went the extra mile and sorted out some chicken for my dog. She loved it also! Shame I live quite far away, but will definitely return. 5 stars!

An enjoyable lunch there on Bank Holiday Monday. We sat outside, looking out on to the River Thames, which was a relaxing view. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The food arrived in a timely manner. It was well cooked and tasty. The wine list is reasonably priced and a good selection to choose from. Have booked a table for a return visit.

Absolutely delightful, long and lazy afternoon spent here, today. The food was immaculate and cooked beautifully. There was a slight problem with timings of the main, but it was immediately rectified with fresh meals for the entire party, and complimentary drinks for all. We were very pleased to also be given a slight reduction on the bill for the inconvenience. Fab service! Our waiter was just fabulous! Such a nice guy, I didn’t get his name but he had some amazing tattoos and pretty impressive rings in his lobes - you know who you are! - he is a credit to the restaurant and just know he is an asset you want to keep. We visit here quite often and will continue to do so. Our friends drive 60 miles to meet us and we drive 25. It’s definitely worth it. 5 stars all round.

Walked in here on the off chance to see if they could squeeze 3 of us in for Sunday lunch. From start to finish, the service from all the staff was superb, and no request was any trouble. Especially our waitress Debbie who was very attentive. My daughter who is 8, made her a picture to say thank you. The food was excellent 👌 very well presented and tasty. My little girl said it was the best past she ever had ❤️. Also we made a request to the pianists he said no problem too. We had a lovely experience here and can highly recommend going to anyone who's thinking about it.

The employee in the gold coloured blouse (so sorry didn’t get a name) was an absolute superstar. Not only did she find us a table she then suggested the table be moved to a more convenient area where my dad could park his mobility scooter. My dads appetite is tiny so she arranged for a small portion of fish and chips which was perfect for him. The food is delicious and the service I found to be second to none. Will definitely be making a return trip

We were celebrating and decided to visit The Boatyard. Upon arrival greeted nicely, shown to our table. We placed drinks orders, unfortunately there was no choice of non alcoholic beer or mocktails. The bar tender was able to fix up some virgin mojitos. We placed orders for starters and mains. Food arrived, but for some strange reason our mains arrived before we had even had our starters delivered to our table. We cancelled the starters and decided to have our main. Food allergies were mentioned to our server but unfortunately they got this very wrong, not impressed. We had no cutlery, napkins, no mention of condiments. Quite promptly a Manager/Owner arrived to try and rectify the situation and apologise for the blunders. The food was amazing but it's just a shame that the service didn't follow suit. We were offered our dessert as a gesture of goodwill by Management which we greatly appreciated. This was our first visit to The Boatyard and would like to return. the four stars is for the lovely standard and quality of food.

Visited the Terrace for a “All things nice” Saturday Afternoon R&B, Marbella , style event. The performers were excellent, great crowd and excellent organisation for the food and bars by the Boatyard Management Team. Wouldn’t hesitate in attending again in tbe future.

Lovely food! Lovely atmosphere! Went for an open mic evening. Staff were lovely and super friendly apart from the dark hair manager, who needed to realise that her customers are paying. She was rude, very blunt and not helpful! Her staff were amazing, friendly, happy and helpful hence the 5 stars! Had this been based on here, it would have been one!
